Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. Our dress code is semi-formal. For women, this means floor-length gowns or knee-length elegant cocktail dresses and for men, suits. As we are going to be celebrating in July, we encourage vibrant, summery colors. The venue will be air conditioned, but the ceremony will be held outdoors.

Is there parking available for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is paid parking located in the area and at the hotel itself. We do, however, recommend making use of public transport or taxis.

Are you accepting gifts?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but if you would like to celebrate us with a gift, a contribution towards our new home would be really appreciated! Please check the "Registry" tab of our website for more information.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please inform us of any food allergies and intolerances and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. You will be able to submit this information on the RSVP page.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

In our experience weddings can be tiring and tedious for children under 10 years old. However, we recognize the challenges of finding childcare abroad. Please contact us if you require assistance finding child-care services during the event and we will do our best to help.

What kind of currency is used in Hungary?

Answer

Hungary uses the forint. There are several places to exchange money at the Budapest airport and in the city. ATMs are also easily found but may charge a transaction/conversion fee. Most places accept credit and debit cards but it is definitely recommended to have some cash on hand, just in case.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have reserved a hotel block at our wedding venue and will be able to provide discounted rates for our guests from Thursday July 11 through Sunday July 14. We kindly ask our guests to RSVP before May 31st.

We will be asking all our guests to indicate their food preference on the RSVP page. We will make any necessary accommodations for food allergies, intolerances or restrictions. When should I book my flight and accommodation?

Answer

We recommend that you book flights and accommodation as soon as possible to ensure the best possible price. In order to participate in all the pre-wedding festivities we suggest arriving on Thursday July 11th or Friday July 12th. Please contact us to receive the link for the hotel block reservations.
