FAQs

We’re so excited to celebrate with you! To help you plan and feel fully prepared for the weekend, we’ve put together answers to some of the most common questions about our wedding celebration. If you have a question that isn’t covered here, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re happy to help in any way we can.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP online before August 1, 2026. If we do not receive your RSVP by that date, we’ll assume you won’t be able to attend our reception and will mark your response as “No.” We will miss celebrating with you, but we must provide our vendors with a final guest count by their deadlines. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, the reception is strictly an adults-only occasion. We want you to have a night off and party the night away with us! However, we understand that you may be traveling with your little ones, so if you need help finding childcare in Denver, please let us know so that we can provide assistance.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to venue constraints, we cannot accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the invitation. If you received a plus-one, their name or "guest" will appear when you RSVP online

Question

Will there be a ceremony?

Answer

No, not at our reception in Denver. We’ll have an intimate wedding ceremony with our immediate family in Maine earlier in the year. Our Denver reception will be a celebration for our extended family, friends, and loved ones who were not at our ceremony in Maine.

Question

Where is the reception?

Answer

Our reception will be held at Mountain Crust Event Venue, located at 3880 S Lowell Blvd, Denver, CO 80236, USA.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

No. Denver is a major city with many transit options! You may choose to drive, take a taxi, or use a ride share app, such as Lyft or Uber, to travel to our reception.

Question

Is there parking for the reception?

Answer

Yes! Parking is available onsite at Mountain Crust Event Venue, with overflow parking at Fort Logan Northgate Middle School (4000 S Lowell Blvd, Denver, CO 80236). Signage will be posted during the event to help drivers navigate to the appropriate parking lots. If you decide to leave your car overnight, please retrieve it before 10:00 a.m. on October 3, 2026.

Question

Will the reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! Weather permitting, our cocktail hour and seated dinner will take place outdoors on the rooftop bar and lawn. Lounge areas and the dance floor will be located inside.

Question

What is the weather and climate like in the area?

Answer

Fall in Denver is beautiful, with temperatures ranging from the high 70s to low 80s during the day and the low 60s to mid-50s at night. We recommend bringing a light layer, such as a shawl or wrap, for when the temperatures drop in the evening.

Question

When will the reception start and end?

Answer

We are currently finalizing our reception timeline and will share the start and end times once everything is confirmed. Please check back soon for updates!

Question

Will there be other events to attend on the reception weekend?

Answer

We’re still finalizing the details for additional events during the reception weekend. Please check back soon for more information. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all weekend long! Please note that attendance at any additional events is completely optional. We understand, and even encourage, you to spend the rest of your weekend exploring Denver and the surrounding areas. Colorado is beautiful in the fall, and we’ve shared some of our favorite recommendations under the “Things to Do” tab on our wedding website.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our reception is cocktail attire. For women, this includes dresses or two-piece sets that fall at or below the knee, or a chic jumpsuit. Guests are encouraged to embrace vibrant colors, bold prints, playful patterns, fun cutouts, or unique hemlines. Footwear can include heels, wedges, or stylish flats. For men, this includes a suit or a sports coat with slacks. Any color or pattern is welcome, and ties are optional, but always a nice touch if you’d like to dress it up. Appropriate footwear includes dress shoes, loafers, or polished boots (cowboy boots welcome, and even encouraged!) Above all, we want you to feel confident, comfortable, and ready to dance! We kindly ask that guests avoid casual clothing such as jeans and t-shirts.

Question

What food will be served?

Answer

We will have small bites during cocktail hour, followed by an unlimited buffet-style pizza dinner, and an assortment of dessert later in the evening.

Question

What if I have a food allergy or dietary restriction?

Answer

Gluten-free and vegetarian options will be available. If you have additional dietary restrictions beyond what’s listed, please let us know in the designated section of your digital RSVP.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar with wine, beers, seltzers, liquor, and two signature cocktails for guests to enjoy throughout the evening. We recommend bringing cash or a credit card if you plan to attend the after-party, as drinks there will not be covered. Please also bring an unexpired ID, as any person who appears under the age of 50 may be asked to provide identification due to Colorado state law. For those traveling from out of town, please note that alcohol can affect you more quickly at higher altitudes. Consider hydrating before the reception and throughout the night.

Question

What if I don't drink alcohol?

Answer

No worries! We will provide several non-alcoholic (NA) options, including sodas, sparkling water, and NA beers, wines, and spirits. If you have any concerns, please let us know on your digital RSVP.

Question

What's the best airport to use?

Answer

Denver International Airport (DIA) is the closest airport to our reception. Downtown Denver is easily accessible from DIA via taxi, public transit, or rideshare.

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

It depends! If you are anticipating staying in Downtown Denver and the surrounding areas for the weekend, you probably won’t need a car. Taxis, ride shares, and public transit are easily accessible and available. However, if you want to venture outside of the city to visit local and nearby attractions, such as the Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, tour the Coors Brewery in Golden, CO, or hike in Rocky Mountain National Park, you will need a car. Please visit our “Things To Do” tab on our wedding website for weekend recommendations and to help plan your trip.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! We’ve reserved a 15-room hotel block at both the Magnolia Hotel in downtown Denver and the Vīb Hotel in RiNo. Guests are responsible for covering their own accommodations. For more details and additional accommodation recommendations, please visit the "Travel" tab on our wedding website.

Question

What should I do if I don't make it into the room block?

Answer

If you miss the deadline to reserve a room in our block, we recommend reaching out to the hotel directly and mentioning our wedding. They may still be able to honor our discounted rate, depending on availability. If not, you can find additional nearby accommodations on the "Travel" tab on our wedding website.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes! You can find our complete wedding registry on our wedding website under the "Registry" tab.

Question

Do I need to purchase a gift from the registry to attend the reception?

Answer

Absolutely not. Your presence at our reception is the greatest gift, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you, regardless of any material or monetary gift
