Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by December 31, 2022.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are not registered for gifts! Your presence in Korea is all the gift we want.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Feel free to bring a plus one to Korea and make a trip out of it. BUT please note that while we are allowing a plus one for the ceremony and after party, we're restricted in number and meals for the reception so cannot provide for your plus one.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome for the ceremony as it's a family event, but the reception and after party is curated more for... us, so we are asking that you find alternate arrangements for your children. Thank you!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have an allergy, please let us know ahead of time! However, we are not preparing food separately for vegetarian, vegan, or halal requirements.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

IF we're lucky, this will be cherry blossom season in Korea!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

This is in the works, but our recommended places of stay in Daejeon are both only a 10-15 minute walk away from the church. If you want to stay in Seoul for the remainder of your stay in Korea (which we highly recommend) you'll need to book KTX high-speed trains to and from the two cities. Check out our Travel page for more information.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, if you're driving, we have more than enough parking!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, please see the Schedule page for more information. But long story short; not too formal, not too casual :)

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will start right at 12:30 so please come before that. We recommend you come an hour early, especially if you want to take some pictures with the couple.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

For Seoul, we recommend you stay anywhere near Hongik University Station; there are countless options that will fit your needs on any hotel booking website like Booking.com or Expedia, or Airbnb. For Daejeon, we are recommending the Ramada by Wyndham or Yousoung Hotel. Please see the Travel page for more information.
