Although we will be getting married in Big Sur, we are asking our guests to stay in Carmel By The Sea. The transportation for the wedding and reception will pick up and drop off in Carmel.
We've listed some hotels below but we suggest staying anywhere in downtown Carmel.
We recommend booking travel and accomidations as far in advance as possible.
For our guests who are flying, we recommend flying into MRY, SJC, or SFO. From there rent a car to travel to Carmel.
MRY is the closest airport but flight options are limited. (10 minute drive to Carmel) Rental car options are limited at this airport. You can also uber/lyft/taxi from MRY to Carmel but we recommend a car to see everything the area has to offer.
SJC would be our suggested airport to fly into. It's about a 1 hour and 20 minute drive to Carmel. This airport will have more flight options than MRY and better availability of rental cars.
SFO is the farthest airport, about a 2 hour drive to Carmel.
