Can I drive myself to and from the venue?

Answer

Unfortunately no one will be allowed to drive themselves to the venue. Shuttles will take everyone to and from the venue. A condition of the property owner is that no guests drive themselves. There is limited space for parking at the venue and it is a very windy and dark road back... besides the bus will be more fun!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event. We want everyone to relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Where will the shuttles pick up and drop off?

Answer

Shuttles will pick up and drop off in Carmel by the Sea (locations tbd). The ride to the venue in Lucia will be about an hour and 20 minutes.

Dress Code?

Answer

Festive cocktail! The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on grass, so choose your footwear accordingly! We're expecting a warm afternoon but it can get chilly after the sun goes down so you will want to bring jacket.. Don't forget your sunglasses!

What type of food will be served at reception?

Answer

We'll be serving light passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a delicious local and seasonal dinner buffet!
