It was a cold Saturday night in NYC, December, 2017. This pretty woman sat next to me and asked me what my zodiac sign was. I responded "Virgo/Libra cusp." She then asked me my birthday and told me "that's my birthday too!" I asked her for her ID in disbelief and whadoyaknow, we share the same birthday and have been inseparable since! Libras Libra-ing.

Alison is one of my long-term friends. Pretty sure we first met at CCHS’s bathroom in Barry Hall because, well, we drank lots of water. We, along with another bridesmaid, have shared lots of memories and laughs for almost 30 years. Alison is the person who ensured we were always safe. It's very well possible that I'm alive because of her. She shot our ideas down that were a bit too crazy. Having her as a bridesmaid ensures we are all safe once again (phew). Glad to have my soul-sister on my team!

Liz and I have been friends since freshman year's Algebra class, CCHS, 1995! Although we didn't have many classes together our energy was magnetic. She was another bathroom buddy in Barry Hall alongside another bridesmaid. Our High School trio is still very much present and we consider one another sisters. Excited to have her on my team in life and especially on this day!

Mom is a woman I met on 9/23 when she decided to give me life. There is no mother like this woman. Being her only daughter, I observed her closely, wanting to be even half the woman she is. Mom is the kindest, most sophisticated, fierce, and badass woman I know. There is nothing she can’t do. In fact, I owe my dancing skills to her. She raised me to be the woman I am today. She’s my greatest cheerleader, setting a very strong foundation for her children, and is an inspiration to many. I’m forever blessed to have her in my life… Love you, Queen!

I first met Kenny at the Sports Medicine gym in Allentown junior year of high school. I was still at Allen HS but he already graduated CCHS and was at college. We started hanging out and became very close over the years. Plenty of pool parties and beer games back in the day! Not to say we don’t like those anymore…

I also met Eric at the gym. He’s Kenny’s brother and they lived together on Allen Street when we were in our 20’s. We were always up to something. Their place was the party hub that the rest of the boys would gravitate to on the weekends. Too many funny stories there! We now try to get together for concerts when we have a chance (no school nights). Life definitely changes from 20’s to 40’s!

Todd has been a close friend for a long time. We met through Kenny and Eric during the Allen St. days. We spent a lot of time at Rookie’s bar and Stooge’s, especially on football Sundays. He was always over to hang out at the Overlook Rd house with all the other guys. We even worked together at the bar back in the day. Lots of great times!

My mom always had my back and still does. She’s been so happy that I met Ellie and that she is becoming part of the family! My love for the beach and ocean began with our family trips to LBI when I was growing up. She and my dad now live in sunny Florida near the gulf coast where she has amazing tropical gardens and a pool that’s warm year round.

My dad aka “Captain John” has always kept me motivated. The reason I enjoy fishing is because of him. I was fortunate to be out on his boat over the years chasing dinner in the Atlantic Ocean. Before that, we’d hike through the woods to find hidden river spots for trout. Now to explore the Gulf since they’ve moved to Florida. I also credit my grill skills to him since he’s the grill master.
