Parking is off-street. Good news: Lehigh University students should be on break for Thanksgiving which will be easier to find parking.
There a few parking decks around the corner up to a block away from the venue. I’d also download the application ‘ParkWhiz’ to help you find the closest/cheapest parking. Below are some lots which can also be found on ParkWhiz: 1. Community Deck 13 S 6th Allentown PA 2. 615 W Walnut St Allentown PA
There is a room block set under Fischl Wedding at the Americus Hotel. Another hotel within walking distance is the Moxy Hotel. Feel free to send Mark or myself (Ellie) a text so we can send you the link for the room block. You can always call Americus and they’ll be sure to take care of you. We advise you to spend the night or have an Uber/Lyft/car service transporting you. **Keep in mind this is the beginning of Thanksgiving break and there are DUI/DWI checkpoints set up all around. It’s not worth the risk… believe me.**
We love the kids but this is an ADULTS-ONLY wedding. And by ADULTS we mean 25+ older. Although this is our day, we would like you to feel a sense of freedom and focused on your partner, and of course yourself. We’d like you to immerse yourselves in the energy of the room, being present with us all. Having your kids will not allow for that. It’s your night too! Please plan accordingly.
We are having an unplugged wedding and are restricting the use of phones during the ceremony. We have an on-site wedding videographer and photographer that will capture it all. Please place your cellphones on silent before being seated. We appreciate you doing this.
It will be listed on the invite whether or not you will have a plus one. If you have any questions once you receive your formal invitation please reach out. Thank you!
It sure is. The only cash you will need is to tip your bartender. Now do you see why we aren’t having kids at the wedding? Note: there will be mocktails available for those who don’t consume alcohol.
Please inform me, Estela (Ellie), about any dietary restrictions no later than two weeks before the wedding.
We don’t think we have any guests who don’t know any better so consider this a “just in case” question. It IS a FORMAL WEDDING. Formal Suits, ties, dress shoes, gowns, or cocktail dresses. I’ll never say no to a bow tie. NO TO: khakis, sneaker shoes, jeans, dance club attire. Save that for after the reception when we hit the after party in the lounge right inside the venue. Dress your VERY BEST. I know a great tailor and seamstress that can get you feeling like a million bucks. I have your back! Let’s go!!
We’re floating the idea around of even having one… kinda played-out and a thing of the past. We will keep this beautiful GUESTLIST posted if we have one and what it’ll be.
