Where should I fly into?

Answer

The closest airport is South Bend (SBN). Two potentially cheaper alternatives are O'Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW) in Chicago or Grand Rapids, Michigan (GRR), which are both two hours away from South Bend.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a hotel block at a discounted rate under the travel section. There will also be travel to/from the reception from this hotel. However, if you choose to stay elsewhere, we recommend the South Bend/Mishawaka area to stay nearby.

What is the dress code?

Ethan and I will be dressed up and would love if everyone will as well. We encourage everyone to wear formal attire. For ladies, midi or maxi length dresses. For the gentlemen, a button down and jacket. Summer colors are encouraged! For additional questions or to see inspiration board please contact the bride.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Due to other weddings taking place at Notre Dame on our wedding day, we are on a stricter timeline. Please be seated in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart by 10:45 am.

How long will the ceremony be?

Answer

The ceremony will be a full nuptial Catholic mass and will be just around an hour.

How do I know if I can bring a plus one?

Answer

We are so excited to have you at our wedding! However, due to planning purpose we may not be able to accommodate all plus ones. When you go to the RSVP page of the wedding website, if you have a plus one it will be listed under your RSVP.

How do I get on campus to the Basilica?

Answer

The Main Gate on Notre Dame Ave is closed during this weekend, so guests will have to drive though East Gate on Holy Cross Drive. This is on the northeast corner of campus, and directions are available on Google Maps by searching “Notre Dame East Gatehouse.”

Where do I park for the ceremony?

Answer

All parking lots are available to guests, but the following are recommended and closest to the Basilica via Holy Cross Drive: Grotto Lot, West Grotto Lot, and St. Liam’s lot.
