We want our guests to feel comfortable throughout the day. Our ceremony will take place at a Christian church, followed by a reception at our home. Please wear comfortable attire that is appropriate for church. For the reception, we kindly ask that you bring a second pair of shoes in case the ground or roads are wet. We will have a photographer during the ceremony, but not at the reception. After the ceremony, the photographer will take photos of the newlyweds with our guests at the church. To help make this smooth for everyone, we kindly ask that immediately after the ceremony, guests form a line by the backdrop located just outside the ceremony room. During the reception, we would love for guests to take photos and share them with the newlyweds. Tendremos un fotógrafo durante la ceremonia, pero no durante la recepción. Después de la ceremonia, el fotógrafo tomará fotos de los recién casados con nuestros invitados en la iglesia. There will not be an MC at the reception. The newlyweds will be guiding the timeline, so we kindly ask for your patience and understanding if things don’t run exactly on schedule. We also ask for your help in setting the mood for the evening—laugh, dance, and focus on having an amazing time with us! No habrá maestro de ceremonias en la recepción. Since the reception will be held at our home, we kindly ask for your help in taking care of and respecting the space. We’ll have plenty of toiletries available, and if anything runs out, please feel free to check the cabinet under the sink. We will also have guests staying overnight, so we kindly ask that the guest rooms and master bedroom remain private. If anything spills, no worries at all—we’ll have a broom and Swiffer available for easy cleanups. Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and for helping us make this a wonderful evening. While we love your little ones, we kindly ask that the reception be adults-only. Our basement is not fully finished, and for safety reasons, we feel this is the best choice.
