Ryan and Steve met during their freshman year at UMass Lowell and quickly became friends over shared classes, video games, and a fair bit of shenanigans. They lived together in various cities and towns, creating lifelong memories along the way. Their camping trips, live concerts, and nights that turned into days stand out as some of the greatest moments and reminders of how wonderful their friendship has been. Steve had the privilege of being Ryan’s best man this past September, as Ryan looks to return the favor this time around.

Cousin to Estee, Emma was her first best friend. Their summers on Lake Winnipesaukee swimming, taking sunset boat rides, and ice cream runs are some of Estee's favorite memories. Despite the distance, Greyhound bus trips and marathon phone calls kept them close. Estee has always relied on Emma's humor, love, and supportive nature to brighten her day. As kids, they made a pact to be each other's Maid of Honor, and Estee is thrilled to live out that pinky promise and have her best friend by her side.

Brother to Estee, Andy has been by her side since day one. From an early age, he sparked Estee's love of music, video games, pop culture, and many other things they still enjoy together. More than just a big brother, Andy has always been a constant and supportive person in Estee's life. His humor, unwavering love, and ability to make any moment feel lighter have been a steady source of comfort. Estee feels incredibly lucky to have her brother and lifelong built-in best friend standing by her side on this special day.
Lindsey Lewis

Lindsey came into Estee's life on Fourth of July nine years ago, when Andy brought her home to meet the family. Lindsey blended seamlessly into the Lewis crew with her warmth, kindness and quick wit. Since then, she has become an incredible sister-in-law, and friend to Estee and Stephen. Over the years, Lindsey has been a constant source of love, laughter, and support, and Estee is so grateful to have her by her side.
Daniel Murphy

Dan met Steve a long time ago and ever since, they have been brothers. Some fond memories include rat tail fights in the kitchen, crazy times at Camp Manitou, running WR routes in the back yard and the Iron Chef Cook-offs. Dan has always been someone Steve looked up to and leaned on. Dan and Estee have also grown close over common interests such as preparing/devouring seafood and playing with Dan’s daughter, Sydney. We are so happy to have Dan with us on our big day.

Estee met Morgan on the first day of orientation at Bridgewater State University. Their chance meeting quickly blossomed into an inseparable friendship. Though life has taken them to different sides of the country, they always pick up right where they left off. Usually over sushi and boba tea. Morgan was with Estee the night she met Steve, and they are beyond grateful to have her standing by their side on this special day.
Timothy Murphy

Tim met Steve a long time ago and ever since they have been brothers. Some fond memories include using sticks as guns in the yard, pulling pranks on members of their family, late night video games and getting into tussles. Tim and Steve have always been grand friends and thick as thieves, as they have barreled towards adventure and plunder countless times. Tim quickly befriended Estee, sharing love of video games and hot takes on pop culture. They are so happy to have Tim by their side on the big day.

Estee met Nicole through work in 2022 when navigating the post-covid healthcare world was anything but easy. Through the long days, they built a genuine friendship that turned tough moments into some of their favorite memories. Even after Nicole left to pursue teaching, they stayed close. Whether over margaritas or swapping the latest work tea, they always find time for each other. Estee is so grateful to have gained not just a colleague, but a true friend, and is excited to have Nicole by her side.
Jonathan Boyle

Steve and Jonathan crossed paths at UML. Their earliest memory was freshman year getting stuck in an elevator on a field trip. While others panicked, they laughed. And after their rescue, they would go on to spend countless times together, living out the good ole days in Boston, Lowell, and on the Saco River. Jonathan now lives in California, but they continue to be best friends - calling often and visiting when they can. Steve is thankful to have him come all this way for the big day.

Jade, wife to Best Man, Ryan - was one of the first people Estee met from Stephen's circle of friends. It didn't take long for them to hit it off. As their friendship grew, Jade gave Estee the inside scoop on the bromance between Stephen and Ryan. From thrifting animal skins, Spanish tapas double dates, and deep dives into survivalist go-bag strategies, Jade and Estee have created a friendship full of shared quirks. Estee is so thankful to have Jade by her side and looks forward to the many future playdates they will set up for their husbands.

Dan met Steve on the first night of college. They shared an Irish exit and their quest back home turned into over a decade of good times. They would end up being both classmates and roommates. It’s been a magical journey with many discs thrown and many board games played. Dan has got a lot of heart and gives his all. He is a great guy to have on your team. Steve and Estee are excited to have him on their team in September.
Lukas Schmid

Lukas and Steve met during mechanical engineering classes at UMass Lowell. After their first group project together, Steve and Lukas matched their schedules to survive the engineering program with each other. From there Steve had the privilege of spending a whole summer in Amesbury with Lukas and his future Wife, Anca. They had an amazing time brewing beer, gardening, working on the VW bus, and living the lake life. Steve is also the proud godfather to Lukas' daughter, Maya. Through all the fond memories and shared beers, Steve couldn't be happier to have Lukas by his side on this day.
Matthew Algera

Steve and Mat also met at Umass Lowell, where their friendship quickly took root. Especially once Steve started spending more nights on Mat's couch than his own apartment to watch him play video games. Later when Steve, Estee, Tom and Mat all moved in together in Waltham, the great times continued. From late night dart games in the basement, to tapas nights on Moody Street and weekend getaways in Portland, Maine, the four of them became inseparable. While Steve and Estee can't wait for the next chapter of their lives, they are so grateful to have so many memorable chapters to scroll back to with Mat.

Tom, also UMass alumni, is a longtime friend of Steve’s. In 2022, Tom, Estee, Steve and Mat lived together in Waltham, MA. Estee and Steve remember the years in Waltham as some of the best yet - learning how to play mahjong, publishing a zine, and having unique and obscure movie nights. While Steve and Estee are excited to start their forever together, they will always miss having Tom’s authentic and spontaneous personality just a room away. They could not be happier to have him standing by their side on this special day.

Arick and Steve became instant friends over a beer in Germany on their way to a study abroad trip in San Sebastian, Spain. For 3 weeks they would have the time of their lives and make lifelong memories and friends. This is also where Arick met his wife, our Officiant, Cathryn! When they returned home, the good times never stopped. They shared so many great moments throwing birthday bashes, running a test kitchen, going on trips to brand new places and talking about all things, football. They’ve recently been having Boyz night with Arick’s son Bennett…. And Cathryn <3. Estee and Steve are so happy to have him with us on the special day.

Cathryn and Steve met during their study abroad in San Sebastian, Spain, where they quickly became close friends and shared unforgettable experiences. They were both bombastic jokesters who valued timeless friendships above all else. Together with their partners in crime, Arick and Estee, the four of them would go on to make incredible memories. From ABBA disco to karaoke nights to Friendsgiving to just relaxing on the patio. Estee was especially grateful to become friends with Cathryn, who has been a kind and joyful presence through every adventure, including their return to San Sebastian and all the fun in between. To this day, Cathryn has been one of Estee and Steve’s biggest supporters. There’s truly no one more fitting to stand beside them now and help guide them into a joyful and loving marriage.
