Estee and Stephen met by complete happenstance through their mutual friend, Colin Golden. One night in 2018, Stephen was invited by his childhood best friend, Colin, for a night out at the infamous Barrett's Ale House in Bridgewater. When they returned to BSU, they went to meet some of Colin's friends a few doors down in Weygand Hall. At the same time, Estee was returning home from a night out with her friend, and Bridesmaid, Morgan. When Estee opened the door, she found Stephen standing in her living room. He spun around erratically, and they locked eyes. He was stunned wondering, ‘who is this beautiful girl?’ - while she was thinking, 'who the heck is this random stranger in my dorm?'. Once they cleared up that Stephen was not an intruder, but a mutual friend of Colin, the two struck up a conversation. Time flowed effortlessly, and before they knew it they had been talking for hours. Before leaving, Stephen's final act was accidentally ripping a command hook off the wall, putting a hole in the kitchen. As he looked for witnesses, Estee was the only one who saw. When she simply made the lock and key motion on her lips, Stephen knew she was ride or die. They exchanged contacts and remained good friends for over a year before Stephen asked Estee out on their first date at Three Square Cafe in Needham, MA. Eight years later, what started as a chance encounter has grown into a long-lasting love story. Estee and Stephen are overjoyed to begin the next chapter of their lives surrounded by friends and family as they say, ‘I do’ and start forever, together.
