We're getting married!

We met back in high school—freshman year, ninth grade—in homeroom English with Mrs. Gurney. What started as a simple class assignment quickly turned into something special. I had a huge crush on Tim, and he’d walk me to class, lend me his hoodies, invite me to his games, and write me letters. Even though we never officially dated in high school, the connection was always there. After graduation, life took us in separate directions, but somehow we found our way back to each other. Our rekindled friendship turned into late-night phone calls, late-night hangouts, and eventually the realization that we couldn’t stay away from one another. Every day felt like a yearning to be by each other’s side. We officially decided to date on August 17, 2019—though Tim insists it was actually the 16th. That’s because he wanted to ask me to be his girlfriend while we were waiting in line for a ride at Disney, but his nerves got the best of him. Once we were home and it had passed midnight, he finally asked—and the rest is history. From that day forward, we have chosen to love and support each other through every chapter of life. We are so excited to continue this journey together and can’t wait to celebrate with the people who have loved us along the way.
