we can't wait to celebrate with you

We had met at my cousin's birthday party earlier in the year but didn't really interact with one another. We then ran into each other on campus in December of 2017. We exchanged numbers and became really good friends and started hanging out in group settings.

After being friends for some time, we went to the state fair together. We spent the day walking around, going on rides, playing games, and looking at the animals there. To wrap up our time at the fair we decided to catch the sunset on the Ferris Wheel. Once we were close enough to the top we were admiring the view and Max asked me to officially be his girlfriend.

We were on a family vacation in Palm Springs and decided to go down to the beach for a day. We got to La Jolla and parked the car and decided on make a coffee stop. Little did I know Max, my brothers, and my friend were trying to stall so that my mom could arrive at the proposal scene and hide before we got there. After lots of stalling, pictures and coffee we finally made our way down to the cove. As we were walking there were cute little picnics set up and families having picnics. There was one set up in particular that had a MARRY ME sign and I got super excited and asked Max if we could stay to watch the proposal. He then started pulling me towards it and I was pulling away because I couldn't wrap my mind around the fact that he was going to propose. He then got on one knee and asked me to marry him. Obviously I said YES!😉
