In typical milennial fashion, Syd and Manny met on a dating app. To make this even more comical I will add that they met on election day in 2016. Syd cancelled the first four dates because of nerves little did she know that December 13th 2016 would be her last first date. Manny immediately charmed Syd (or scared her) by sitting right next to her at the beer hall instead of sitting across from her (which is typical). It's fair to say that relationships move quicker in New York City, we can thank the sky high rent costs for that. Both a little nervous, they moved in together in August of 2018. While they thought that it could bring on a lot of fights it brought them closer together and they both realized that they were lucky to live with their best friend.
