Google maps should be dropping you off right where we put the yellow star in the photo above. From there, follow our aerial view above to the party.

Where do I park?

Answer

Check out the attached photo. The address provided will have you turn left off Hwy 154. Once turning left, immediately turn right, towards the "Royal Oaks Arabians" sign. Then, just follow the road until you see all the chairs set up for the ceremony. Just past that, make a left, and there will be ample parking. Of course, the easiest solution is to use your uber or lyft app from your hotel.

Are the ceremony and reception at the same place?

Answer

Yes, everything will be held at the Royal Oaks Ranch. Show up and have some snacks and drinks, then Hi-5 us as we walk down the aisle, and then get ready to dance the night away!

What's the dress code?

Answer

Formal/Semi-Formal, please. But we want you to be comfortable. If that flannel button up tucked into your jeans will make you happy, then go for it. It'll make us happy too.

Does everyone get a Plus-One? How do I know if I can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says, "and Guest," then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. If you're unsure, this website will let you know when you RSVP.

Is the 'Save the Date' the formal invite? How should I RSVP?

Answer

Yes, the 'Save the Date' is the only mailing. RSVP right here on our website, it's the tab just to the right of this FAQ section. Please let us know if you can join by May 1, 2019

When should Iarrive? When should I leave?

Answer

Arrive half an hour before the ceremony, so feel free to arrive at 4:30 pm. This will give you time to park (or get dropped off by your uber), have a drink, mingle, and find a seat before the ceremony begins. Per our contract, all guests need to be vacated by 10:00 pm. Sorry, we want to party all night with you too.

Where are you registered?

Answer

We're thrilled to have you at our wedding. Especially since many of you have to take a flight to attend. If you want to give a gift as well, you can do it right here on this website, under the "Registry" tab.

Do you have a hotel recommendation?

Answer

The Royal Oaks Ranch is in wine country, so there are no major hotels for us to secure a hotel room block. We'd recommend staying in Solvang, Santa Ynez, Buellton, or Los Olivos (all about 5-10 minutes away). Solvang is the most picturesque, being a small Danish town filled with delicious baked goods and wine. Some of you may also be interested in the Chumash Casio Resort (which is 5 minutes away).

Is there an Open or Cash bar?

Of course, this is the most important question. Don't worry, it will be an open bar. Just keep in mind the wonderful bartenders would appreciate a cash tip.

Do you need my food order?

Answer

We've been together 10 years, and so we want to invite our closest friends and family to come celebrate with us. In that casual spirit, we're having a buffet of home-cooked food. Trust us, you won't leave hungry.

Will there be a shuttle service?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. There's always uber and lyft, which we highly recommend, as parking space is limited. We recommend staying 5-10 minutes away, in the towns of Los Olivos, Solvang, Buellton, and Santa Ynez.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love kids, we're looking forward to having an adult evening, which will also give you an opportunity to enjoy yourself as well.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather in Santa Ynez in July averages in the 70's to 80s, being clear, sunny, and no humidity. So basically, the weather in July is usually perfect.

Can I take the centerpiece?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. They're not ours to give, but the property of our talented coordinator. But why not stop by our photo booth and make a few funny faces. That's a way better souvenir than fake flowers!

Is smoking allowed in designated areas?

Answer

Our contract states smoking can be done on hard-surfaced areas, only, given the high risk of fire in gorgeous wine country. This goes for e-cigarettes, vaping, you-name-it.
