Maid of Honor
I met Eryn in the fall of 2014 on the front porch of the Tri Delta Zeta house at the University of Cincinnati, both of us in handmade tutus with glitter glue on our faces, wondering what we'd gotten ourselves into. During our time at UC, we spent many nights opening the bar, gossiping on our couches, watching American Horror Story with Mitch and my partner, Drew, and occasionally studying. Even through long distance and a pandemic, we stayed close. In 2021, we all reunited in Chicago, where the double dates, girls' nights, joint wedding planning sessions, and many club activities, including Book Club, Supper Club, Cookbook Club, and Craft Nights picked right back up. I am a former school psychologist, therapist, and lifelong student. I grow up in Columbus, went to UC for undergrad, and earned my master's at the University of Toledo. I'm now back in school pursuing my doctorate at The Chicago School. In my free time, I love to explore the city, hang out with my dog, Ollie, play video games and read.
Best Man
Chad lives in Cincinnati, where he first met Mitch and Eryn. He and Mitch became friends after being randomly assigned as roommates at the University of Cincinnati. While studying engineering and business there, Chad met Eryn, and what began as study sessions quickly turned into a lifelong friendship! These days, Chad loves to travel, having visited DC, Chicago, LA, and Tampa Bay just this year. When he's not on the move, he spends most of his time gaming, working out, and playing whatever sports his knees will still let him.
Bridesmaid
I first met Eryn when we were seated next to each other in Mrs. Vanoy’s first-grade class. She had just returned from a cruise with her hair in fresh braids, and I remember thinking she was the coolest girl in the room. From that moment on, we’ve been friends and soul sisters (well, minus that two-week-long feud in sixth grade!). From volleyball games to 16-hour road trips squished in the back of a minivan on our way to Florida, Eryn and I have truly grown up side by side. I feel incredibly lucky to have a friend like her—someone who’s been there for every laugh, tear, and unforgettable memory. Congratulations, Mitch and Eryn! Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness. Love you more than my luggage!
Groomsman
I've known Mitch and Eryn since freshman year, when we all lived on the first floor of Dabney Hall together. I'm proud to say I introduced Mitch to biking, which has become a huge part of his life. I'll gladly take credit for that, as any good friend would. It's been great watching Mitch and Eryn grow together over the years. Even after moving several states away, they've stayed close with everyone here while building an amazing life together. When Mitch first told me about the engagement, you could see how much he loves Eryn. I couldn't be happier for them, and I can't wait to celebrate with them on their special day.
Bridesmaid
Howdy! I'm Jamie, and I'm honored to be a bridesmaid at the iconic Mackenzie-Powers wedding. I grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and went to the University of Cincinnati. After graduating in 2020, my partner, Stuart, and I moved to Chicago, where we’ve been ever since. I love this city, spending my free time at the beach, exploring new neighborhoods and restaurants, cooking, reading, and spending time with my amazing friends. Funny enough, while we were all at the University of Cincinnati at the same time, we didn’t officially meet until we ended up in Chicago. Since then, my life has been so positively impacted by these wonderful people. We get together for dinners, craft nights, book clubs, sports games, beach days, grill outs, birthdays, and so much more. It’s truly such a joy to have Eryn and Mitch in my life and am beyond excited to celebrate them on their wedding day!

I met Mitchell and Eryn at the University of Cincinnati through the UC Cycling Club, and we've been bitter rivals ever since. Over the years, we've shared countless rides, races, and trips together. Some of my favorite memories come from our adventures in Tucson. Braving the cold desert mornings, losing fights with cacti, and somehow managing to eat out for 35 meals straight. Who needs groceries anyway? A close second would be the Halloween I got to live out my dream of being a cow on the farm, with Farmer Eryn keeping a watchful eye over her unruly livestock.
Officiant
Rob and Mitch have been inseparable since they met in third grade, and I was lucky enough to meet him in 2014. Since then, he’s become an irreplaceable part of our lives. Mitch and Rob lived together throughout college, and to this day, I don’t think Mitch has ever liked a roommate more (including me!). From hosting the New Year’s Eve party where Mitch and I officially started dating on January 1, 2015, to countless adventures, late-night talks, and singalongs, Rob has been there through every stage of our relationship. When we got engaged, we both instantly knew there was no one better to officiate our wedding. Though Rob is currently deployed in South America, we’re so grateful for his friendship, his wisdom, and his presence in our lives—and we can’t wait to have him back state side and to officiate our wedding! - Eryn
