We first crossed paths in the storied halls of Dabney at the University of Cincinnati. Brought together by Mitch’s roommate turned lifelong friend Chad. Our first date was to the Cincinnati Zoo lights. Wandering around in the cold with our hot chocolate has turned into an annual tradition that we’ve continued to this day. Since then, our lives together have taken us to multiple different states, before finally settling in Chicago, where we now call home. Over the years, we’ve balanced each other out in the best ways, Eryn with her drive, determination and compassion, and Mitch with his steady resolve and always perfectly timed comedic relief. Our proposal came after 10 years in what can only be described as the least surprising “surprise” engagement of all time, but from the alpine steep sand dunes, to the gas station rose, it was perfect nonetheless. It’s been an incredible journey from Dabney Hall to now, and we can’t wait to celebrate the start of our next chapter with all of you. Love, Mitch & Eryn
