Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre

Open to the pubic for free during the day. Super cool to walk around the amphitheater as well as hike the short trails surrounding the area.

Easy Hike: Welch Ditch Loop

Located in Golden an adorable town outside of Denver. Low elevation and very scenic. 2.4 miles and 232 ft elevation gain

Flatirons in Boulder

Has many different options for hikes from moderate to a tad harder with some elevation. This is where we took our save the dates

Rocky Mountain National Park

If you have a rental car and are staying around for a few extra days. We highly recommend making a reservation to hike the Rocky Mountains. We loved the four lake hikes. I have never seen more beautiful alpine lakes. 7.2 miles and 1,351 ft elevation gain.

Higher Elevationo Hike: Diamond Lake

Beautiful waterfalls, stunning alpine lake at the end of the hike. 5.4 miles with 1,200 ft elevation gain. Was our second hike once we moved to Denver
