It all started at a greek life function, where we met for the first time. That same night Will asked me to go to his formal with him. I knew early on that there was something different about Will. We just seemed to click so well. After going to both each others formals and freshmen year came to and end. We stayed in touch all summer (with Will famously only texting me on Thursdays), we found ourselves spending more and more time together as sophomore year began. One day, Will asked me out on an official date — dinner at Noodles & Company, which quickly became a go-to spot in our relationship. That night ended with games and laughter at the wonderfully rundown Pinball Pete’s arcade, the perfect setting for the beginning of something special. From there, everything fell into place. Will officially asked Erin to be his girlfriend on October 29th, and from that point on, we’ve been growing, learning, and laughing together ever since. Through college, we’ve seen each other evolve, always pushing and supporting one another to become the best versions of ourselves. We made it through long distance, a pandemic, and even moving across the country. Then, on a perfect winter day in Breckenridge, Will got down on one knee on a frozen lake and I said yes. Now, we can’t wait to begin this next chapter together, surrounded by all the people who have supported us along the way.
