Best Man
What started as a friend of a friend turned into a roommate, then a landlord, a golfing buddy, and ultimately one of the most important friendships in my life. Mark and I met shortly after graduating, and he’s been by my side ever since. He’s the kind of person who pushes you to be braver—whether that means poking the bear or, somehow attempting to pet a bison (yes - literally). More than that, he’s the person I call when I’m unsure of myself, when I need perspective, or when I just need someone I trust. I’m incredibly grateful to have him as both my best friend and someone I get to stand beside on this day.
Maid of Honor
Krishna has stuck with me from high school marching band through college, med school (her), moving across the country (me), a variety of vacations and travel snafus, and more. She is my style guru and my voice of reason. She has also helped plan an enormous amount of the details going into our wedding, and Corey and I are both grateful for her friendship and support!
Officiant and Groomsman
It’s hard to imagine what life would be like without my little brother. We’re three and a half years apart, and growing up, that felt like a lifetime—especially in high school, where the gap between a senior and a freshman is huge. But once you graduate and start getting older, that difference fades away and becomes completely meaningless. He knows me better than I'd like to admit, sometimes annoying so. But I'm grateful he's here, and proud of the man he is today. We’re closer than ever, and I’m really glad Mom never returned him… no matter how many times I asked.

Christine is the ultimate travel wizard. She's navigated an unexpected 15+ mile hike with me across a mountain range; handled her baggage being lost on an international trip with the utmost grace; drove us safely around icy cliffs in Iceland; and supported me through driving on the wrong (well, left) side of the road in Ireland. Fun fact: she and Corey have been in a wedding together before!
Groomsman
One of my earliest memories of Chris Brown—and yes, you must always use his full legal name—is the look of absolute, justified disgust he gave me as I pounded on his freshman dorm room door at 1 a.m. It’s a memory I cherish, because little did he know that night wouldn’t be the last time he’d be unwillingly dragged into my nonsense… or that we'd be friends to this day. Chris Brown and I were in the same fraternity, where he served as his pledge class president—essentially acting as counsel for an entire group of underqualified freshmen. Even back then, he was never afraid to speak his mind, ask pointed questions, or object to poor decision-making. Traits that made him a natural leader then, a great lawyer now, and my trusted voice of reason. I’m incredibly lucky to have him standing with me on my wedding day—though I can confirm he’s only here in a personal capacity, not as legal representation.

My cousin and lifelong friend — born two months and 28 days before me! We grew up down the street from each other and stayed close even after she moved away in elementary school. We went to my first concert ever together - Beach Boys at Wolf Trap! We have been there for each other through life's highs and lows, and I am so glad she is standing with me on my wedding day.
Groomsman
Viet is one of the longest friendships of my life—we met freshman year of high school, back before smartphones, Facebook, or Twitter even existed. As you can imagine, we’ve watched each other grow up over the years, standing side by side through the toughest moments and the highest highs. From making K-Ci & JoJo music videos to now talking about his kids’ parent-teacher conferences, we’ve truly been through it all. That history is exactly why he’ll be standing next to me today, among my closest friends, as I get married.
Bridesmaid
My AKPsi big since Fall ‘08 and the original trip planner of our friend group. She started the travel trend in our early 20s when she and her boyfriend (now husband) would book a trip, then invite the rest of our college squad with all the details already planned. Great way to get a lot of people to agree on a date and place! Now we mostly travel together for fresh pow :)
Groomsman
Eric is a year younger than me, but we met at American University and quickly bonded over being fellow Northern Virginians and fraternity brothers. After college, we lived together for a few years in what we proudly called the “Frateau,” where—arguably—our real education began. We quickly learned home improvement skills and how to manage bottle rockets and mortars out the backyard. Eric learned that if you don't lock your bedroom door, someone will build a snowman in the bathroom. We're still looking for the culprits. Those years turned a college friendship into a lifelong one, and I’m grateful to have him standing by my side.
Bridesmaid
Once my sports nemesis, now my friend! We competed on the basketball court back in middle school and became friends in high school once we wound up in the same class and actually had a conversation. Then I followed in her footsteps out to Colorado for some mountain adventures for a few years. Now we're both back on the East Coast!
Groomsman
Tim is one of the kindest and most thoughtful people you’ll ever meet. His capacity for empathy and patience rivals the number of kids that keep saying “six, seven.” I met Tim at American University, where we both served as fraternity officers. As our chaplain, he was our moral compass and our voice of reason whenever conflicts came up—needless to say, he stayed busy. Always positive and endlessly upbeat, I’m truly grateful to have him standing with me on this day.

My work/life twin. My own home security system mistakes her for me, not to mention every boss we've worked for together. We've competed and acted as teammates in soccer, board games, and paintballing. Also my fitspiration -- ask her how many half-marathons she ran in 2025!
Groomsman
Ebad was my hall mate freshman year at American University’s Tenly Campus. Culturally we had a lot of similarities and we hit it off quickly. Since we both were from northern Virginia we were still hanging out through summer when all of our classmates went home. We’ve cried together, laughed together, laughed at each other, and made each other proud. I can’t wait to have the Khanartist back in VA once again on my wedding day!
Bridesmaid
My high-altitude bestie who showed me around Denver, Aspen, and Cancun. She went from snowy Colorado to sunny Texas, but we still get to hang out a few times each year thanks to our travel-heavy work schedules <3
