Despite both growing up in Northern Virginia, we never met until we started working together in 2015 (ish) at immixGroup. immixGroup was an IT company with a very successful side business as a dating service - we've been to many weddings of our friends who met their other half while working together at immix!
We've been to several escape rooms with friends (Team Itinerary!), so Corey knew that Erinn would love that activity. He planned an escape room proposal with the help of our besties Mark & Carol, working with Carol to select a room that wouldn't kill the romantic vibes. The whole time we were all solving the puzzle, Corey had an eye on the timer to make sure we'd get to the right clue before the hour ended. Thankfully, our team puzzle-solving skills were strong and we cruised through the clues (may have been a record time for that room if it wasn't for the proposal). Erinn found the ring box first and started to realize something was up! After he popped the question, Corey & Erinn went out for a romantic sushi dinner and came home to a house filled with bubbles, flowers, and several friends waiting with champagne to help us celebrate!
Please check your invitation - if it says "and Guest” we’d love for you to bring someone! Otherwise, we’re keeping it intimate to spend quality time with our closest people.
There is plenty of onsite parking! We will also have a shuttle running from the hotel to transport everyone for the start of the event, and back after the reception ends.
Everyone needs a night out for just the adults! This will be a kid-free event.
Anything from cocktail attire to formal - and bring your dancing shoes! Bridesmaids will be in floor-length gowns and groomsmen (and Corey) will be in tuxedos.
We're going unplugged for the ceremony, and will let our very capable photography + videography team capture all the special moments! Please put your phones away for the ceremony - you can snapchat/post/tweet to your heart's content during the reception.
She's booked at an all-inclusive dog spa for the weekend and will have cucumbers on her eyes and a face mask on while we dance the night way!
