The Tennyson Street Cultural District is located between 38th and 46th avenue and the history of the neighborhood is a rich and varied one. It is a vibrant collection of thriving small businesses, world class restaurants, contemporary art, tattoo and jewelry galleries, trendy fashion outfitters and coveted music institutions. All striving to celebrate the neighborhood’s diverse heritage. In addition to its thriving arts scene, Tennyson Street is also home to a number of parks and green spaces, including Historic Elitch Gardens at 37th, César Chávez Park at 41st and Berkeley Lake Park at 46th. Starting: 7:00 AM Single Session: $23 The 14th season of Yoga on the Rocks, presented by White Claw Hard Seltzer, runs Saturday mornings with dates in May, June, July and August Aug. 8 – presented by Better Buzz Yoga. Vendor Village, presented by HCA HealthONE, will also be returning to the Top Plaza. Attendees can visit partner booths and activations for merchandise, giveaways, games and samples from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Yogis this year also have the option to fuel up after class with brunch at Ship Rock Grille, located in the Red Rocks Visitor If you are under the age of 18, you must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver on your behalf, which is available at the venue during the event. Tickets are available online only. No drop-in sales at the door.
Saturday, August 8 at City Park from 08:00 AM to 01:00 PM The City Park Farmers Market features 100+ local producers offering raw ingredients, prepared foods, beverages and more. The event also features a donation-based yoga class, run club and live music from local acts. Free to attend, the market offers café-style seating, plenty of grass for picnicking and is pet- and family-friendly.
