Question

Where is the venue?

Answer

If you're looking for venue details, you're not missing anything—I am, too. Unfortunately, I encountered some unexpected challenges with my original venue and am currently finalizing a new location. While this wasn't part of the plan, I promise it's all going to work out exactly as it's meant to. Venue details will be announced as soon as they are confirmed. Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and willingness to join me on this little plot twist. Stay tuned!

Question

What should I wear Friday night?

Answer

Let's call Friday night the warm-up round. Cocktail attire is recommended: knee-, midi-, or tea-length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, suits with a tie, or elevated sports coats and slacks. In other words, look hot, but save your final form for Saturday. The rehearsal dinner is your chance to remind everyone that you're sophisticated, elegant, and capable of restraint. The theme party tomorrow will test whether any of those things are actually true.

Question

What should I wear on Saturday night?

Answer

Do you have that one outfit hanging in your closet that you absolutely love... but have absolutely nowhere to wear it? Well, now you do. The theme is No Where to Wear It—a celebration of all things extra, fabulous, sparkly, bold, dramatic, glamorous, over-the-top, and completely unnecessary in the best possible way. Pull out the sequins. Wear the feathers. Rock the jumpsuit. Dust off the gown. If you've been waiting for an excuse, this is it. There are no rules, no dress code, and no such thing as "too much." In fact, I encourage you to outdress me. I dare you.

Question

When should I arrive on Saturday?

Answer

The celebration begins at 5:30 PM with a welcome cocktail hour. Come hungry and thirsty—dinner, drinks, and plenty of fun will be provided throughout the evening. During cocktail hour, you'll have time to grab a drink, enjoy appetizers, browse marital historical artifacts, take photos in the photo booth, visit interactive stations dedicated to the death of Erin Kathleen Peterson, and leave a note for the incoming Erin Kathleen Love. The show begins promptly at 7:00 PM, and trust me—you'll want to be there from the beginning. Please plan to arrive on time so you don't miss any of the festivities. Think of 5:30–7:00 PM as the pre-show. The main event starts at 7:00 PM.

Question

Who are the Goddesses?

Answer

Divorcée is to Bride as Goddess is to Bridesmaid. These are some of the most important women in my life—the women who stood beside me when my life fell apart, helped me pick up the pieces, and reminded me who I was when I forgot. They have witnessed the grief, the healing, the rebuilding, and the transformation that brought me to this moment. When the life I once knew burned to the ground, these women helped me keep my head above water. They offered love, laughter, truth, shoulders to cry on, emergency phone calls, reality checks, and unwavering support. They celebrated my victories, sat with me in my pain, and walked beside me as I found my way home to myself. This celebration would not be possible without them. They are not simply dancing next to me on this day—they helped me get here. They are my Goddesses.
