Our top priority is the safety of all of our guests. Please be considerate and respectful of everyone in attendance and realize that each individual has a different comfort level when it comes to spending time with others. Please note that we won’t be supplying masks at the venue, so you will need to provide your own. We strongly encourage all of our guests -- both vaccinated and unvaccinated -- to get a Covid-19 test prior to the wedding.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

The ceremony will start promtly at 2:00 pm CST so please arrive a few minutes early.

What is the timeline for the day?

Answer

Ceremony - 2:00 pm Reception - 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm If you participating in BYOB please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to the ceremony so you can drop your cooler at the Reception Hall before heading over to the Chapel.

Parking

Answer

Navigating to Boxwell Scout Reservation will not take you directly to the venue. Please be aware of the marked signs that will direct you towards our designated parking.

What type of food will be provided?

Answer

We will be having a light buffet of BBQ pork and Chicken sliders with sides and a Dessert Bar. A drink for a toast will be provided; however, the reception is BYOB so bring a cooler if you wish.

Answer

There will be a designated room for guest to keep their coolers if they wish to do so. Please follow the signs outside and in the reception hall. Arrive 15 minutes prior to the ceremony to drop off your cooler at the Reception Hall before heading to the Chapel.

Camping Out

Answer

If you are planning to camp out with us after the reception, please make sure you bring the appropriate equipment (i.e. tent, sleeping bag, clothes, lawn chair). A camp site platform, bath house, and s'mores will be provided. If you have any questions or concerns contact Austin or Erin Leigh.

Can I come to the bonfire and not camp out?

Answer

Following the reception we will be heading down by the lake to continue the celebration with a fire, s'mores, and music. Guest are welcome to stay as long as you'd like rather they are camping or not, but bring a lawn chair. Please arrange for a designated driver if you plan to drink alcohol and not stay to camp.

Once you navigate to Boxwell Scout Reservation there will be signs to follow towards parking, Camp Craig Dining Hall, and Don Stanford Chapel. Google maps works best if you put in the name of the Camp Craig Dining Hall. The parking lot will be marked before the Dining Hall and you will be directed to walk from there.
