To love is to plant a seed of happiness in another's heart, and watch it grow.

After meeting online and texting back and forth for a while, we finally decided to meet up with each other in person. Our first date was at Druthers Brewing Company, located in Albany, NY. We spent the night getting to know each other over food and drinks while chatting about our family, friends, hobbies, and our adoration for the Druthers' beer cheese dip and pretzels. After that night, we decided to see each other again the following weekend and quickly made seeing each other every weekend a regular occurrence.

One Friday night, we met our friends in Schenectady, NY, for dinner and drinks at The Shaker & Vine and then decided to check out the casino next door (Erin had never been to one). After playing one slot machine and losing $20, we decided to sneak away to check out the boat docks nearby instead. It was here that we decided to make our relationship official!

While vacationing in Jackson, WY, we took an early morning hike to Taggart Lake located in the Grand Teton National Park. Once we had reached a picturesque spot on the trail, Krsna set up a tripod to "take pictures", but ended up taking a video of him proposing to Erin instead! We are both grateful to have had such a special moment to share between us in an unforgettable place.

One of my favorite memories with Krsna is when we went to Canada. We stayed in the Thousand Islands first, and then stayed in Montreal, Canada for a few days before returning home to the U.S.A. on the 4th of July. It was my first time using my passport and being outside of the country. I always laugh when remembering that we blasted the song "Born in the USA" by Bruce Springsteen with the windows rolled down while waiting in the long line of cars to cross the border into the U.S.A! My favorite thing about Krsna is his confidence and dedication. Because of these, he is a strong stabilizing force for many. My favorite thing to do with Krsna is to travel and explore new places together. My favorite accomplishment with Krsna is our roadside farm stand. I had a crazy idea that may not have happened otherwise, but he believed in it and built the stand for me, helping to bring the whole idea to life.

One of my favorite memories with Erin is driving through the Green Mountain National Forest in Vermont showing her my favorite campsites, sitting and talking on the river bank, and swimming in the reservoir. My favorite thing about Erin is her loving spirit, showing kindness and care for all those in her life. My favorite things to do with Erin are attend live events (concerts, farmers markets, sporting events), enjoy a dinner date at a local brewery, and visit all the walking trails in nearby parks. My favorite accomplishment with Erin is watching the garden we created together flourish. The effort, growth, and cultivation in this garden is analogous to how we treat our relationship with one another.
