Sushi Teri at 970 Linden Ave, Carpinteria, CA 93013 Try the OMG roll (Erin's favorite) or the Omega 3 roll (Troy's favorite). Panederia Casa Don Roge at 4912 Carpinteria Ave, Carpinteria, CA 93013 Insanely good Mexican bakery that serves lunch plates as well. Siam Elephant at 509 Linden Ave, Carpinteria, CA 93013 Great Thai food. Try the Pumpkin Curry or the Asparagus & Avocado Salad. The Food Liaison at 1033 Casitas Pass Rd, Carpinteria, CA 93013 Order the Crack Burrito. Enough said.

The Blue Owl at 5 W Canon Perdido St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101 Try the Banh Mi (Troy's favorite) or the Sweetheart Burrito (Erin's favorite). La Paloma Cafe at 702 Anacapa St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101 Elevated local cuisine in a beautiful location (inside and out). Flor de Maiz at 29 E Cabrillo Blvd, Santa Barbara, CA 93101 Fancy Mexican food in a busy waterfront location. Try the carajillo cocktail! The Boathouse at 2981 Cliff Dr, Santa Barbara, CA 93109 (Hendry's Beach) Super popular beachside restaurant for brunch, but it's beautiful at dinnertime too.
Old Spanish Days in Santa Barbara
So many events to check out in Santa Barbara this week. Here are some of our favorites: El Mercado de la Guerra, Wednesday-Sunday 11am-10pm: A colorful Mexican market (across from City Hall) to feast on Spanish and Mexican-American foods, shop for crafts and souvenirs, and enjoy live entertainment all day. El Desfile Histórico, Friday at noon: One of the largest equestrian parades in the country, the Fiesta Historical Parade is unique to Santa Barbara and features floats depicting gorgeous art, dancers, musicians, and episodes from the history of the state and city. The parade runs along Cabrillo Boulevard from Castillo Street to Calle Cesar Chavez. El Desfile de los Niños, Saturday at noon: In this charming Children's Parade, young people of Santa Barbara, their parents, and other parade participants don traditional costumes and celebrate the rich culture of the area. The parade funs along Cabrillo Blvd from Garden Street to Calle Cesar Chavez.

A beautiful farm market held every Thursday 2:30-5:30pm. Don't miss it if you're in town!
Carpinteria Arts Center Arts & Crafts Faire
Take a few minutes to stroll through a sweet local market held monthly from 10am to 4pm. Don't miss the inside of the gallery too!
Santa Barbara Art Walk
Stroll along the beautiful beachfront Cabrillo Boulevard just West of Stearns Wharf and browse for handmade treasures created by local artisans. This one covers several blocks and is near several other attractions such as Stearns Wharf and the Funk Zone. Sunday from 10am to 6pm.
