Ceremony Parking & FAQs

The Wedding Website of Erin Barger and Steven Lynch
Bridge Street Wedding Chapel is in downtown Grand Ledge off of Bridge Street next to the river. On the map above it is circled in red. Parking locations are highlighted on the map. All parking is free. In addition to street parking off of both Bridge Street and Greenwood Street, there is a tiny lot next to the chapel and two lots across the street. There is also a larger lot across the river next to Fitzgerald Field. (There is a parking lot by Lick-ity Split, but according to a sign viewable on Google Maps it is for customers of Lick-ity Split and Preston's Bar only.)

Question

Answer

Please RSVP by June 14th.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30. Please arrive around 2:15 to ensure that you find parking and are seated by 2:30.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

It's a wedding -- please dress nice. (No t-shirts or jeans, please.) With the reception taking place outdoors, consider the weather when planning your outfit. You are more than welcome to change into a more casual and cooler outfit for the reception. Ladies with long hair should bring a hair tie, as the soccer fields are known for being windy.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, there is a spot to add allergies and dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our family members are welcome to bring their kids. If your kids are invited, you will be able to RSVP for them. (If you are family and your children are not listed in your group to RSVP for, please let us know.)

Question

What food will be served to children?

Answer

Children are welcome to eat food from the buffet (beef short rib and chicken cordon bleu) or chicken tenders. (Please let us know which they would prefer when you RSVP.)
