We are absolutely thrilled to be able to celebrate with you on May 21st, 2021! We want to make sure everyone feels comfortable celebrating with us, and have put together additional information around safety precautions in the FAQs section of this website. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any additional questions or concerns, and we're happy to talk through: AndersonAlvaradoWedding@gmail.com. Of course, while we wish everyone could come in-person to celebrate, we respect your individual choices to attend or not, and know we'll get to celebrate with you someday soon regardless! Thank you so much for your support and love over the last year, and as we head into this new chapter in our lives together (finally!)
In December 2012, Rene and Erin separately found themselves at a cocktail bar in North Beach that neither of them usually visited - Rene with friends and Erin with coworkers. With a twist of fate, and Erin's... ahem.... clumsy nature, she bumped into Rene's back, who was turned around chatting with friends. Following some starry eyes, a round of apologies, and a few shared cocktails, the rest is history!
On the 6th anniversary of the day they met, Rene proposed to Erin at Union Square in front of the big, beautiful Christmas Tree. After lots of tears, kisses, and of course a YES, Rene continued the surprises throughout the weekend: First, with a friend hidden during the proposal to catch photo and video, then almost 30 close friends waiting at the bar they first met at, ready to celebrate, and finally with a house full of balloons, cake, more champagne, and some great friends in from out of town. It was a weekend for the books!
