FAQs

Question

What is the dress code for each event?

Answer

For the wedding we are asking for guest to be in semi-formal attire. Please refrain from day wear or jeans. Bright colors are encouraged and hope people come ready to dance the night away! For the Welcome Cocktails it can be cocktail attire or anything you are comfortable wearing to a party. For brunch, any day wear is appropriate. We know a lot of people will be traveling home this day so don't be afraid to be comfortable.

Question

What is the weather like in SLO in April?

Answer

The average is High- 72 Low - 47 and tends to be mostly sunny. Bring layers as the sun is warm and the evenings are cool. There will be patio heaters at the wedding. But you will be dancing so it won't matter anyway!

Question

Are kids included in the guest list?

Answer

We kindly ask that you respect our wishes for no children at the wedding weekend. We understand if that makes attending not possible for you, and we will miss you at the celebration. Please consider attending the Wedding Kick Off celebration in Lawrence, Ks where kids are welcome if that works better for you. Besides the bride's niece and nephews, we will not be making exceptions to this.

Question

Do you have a hashtag to share pictures from the Wedding Weekend?

Answer

Yes! Please use #happilyeverhays to share all of the photos from any wedding festivities.

Question

When should we plan to arrive and how long should we stay?

Answer

Totally up to you! We hope you join us for the welcome cocktail reception Friday evening and stay through Sunday morning brunch. But we know that might not work for everyone. If you feel like turning your trip into a vacay, there are so many wonderful things to do and see near SLO. Feel free to extend your trip! If you want to stay longer at any of the hotels outside of the blocked days, contact the hotel directly.
