Things To Do

Please go to the following website for more of our personal recommendations. https://www.eringauvin.com/sbwedding password: letmein

FOOD: La Super-Rica Taqueria

622 North Milpas Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93103

Cash only. Expect a short line, and for good reason. This is Julia Child's favorite taco in town. I repeat. Julia's favorite. Also mentioned in Katy Perry's song "This Is How We Do".

FOOD: Brophy Bros.

119 Harbor Way, Santa Barbara, CA 93109

Local favorite for seafood, clam chowder, nice harbor views, and libations.

FOOD: Bettina

1014 Coast Village Road, Santa Barbara, CA 93108

Michelin Bib Gourmand award winner. Delicious pizza.

FOOD: Loquita

202 State Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

Michelin Bib Gourmand award winner. Authentic Spanish. If you have an open night, make a reservation for the back patio. Pure romance.

FOOD: Barbareño

205 West Canon Perdido Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

Michelin Bib Gourmand award winner. This restaurant is quintessential Californian cuisine. A meal here is going to be quite expensive and quite lovely. Making a reservation for dinner would be a wonderful idea for someone wanting to practice self-care while deeply impressing their sweetie.

COFFEE: Dune Coffee Roasters

528 Anacapa Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

Yummy coffee. Multiple locations in town.

DRINKS: The Good Lion

1212 State Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

Good cocktails!

DRINKS: Third Window Brewing

406 East Haley Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

Specializes in Belgian beers. They share a patio with a winery and kitchen so this is a great place to go for the whole group to get what they'd like!

DRINKS: Carr Winery

414 North Salsipuedes Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93103

One of the few wineries that produce their wines on the premises, Carr's tasting room is in their barrel room, a funky quonset hut. Noted for their Pinot Noir, but also producers of great Cabernet Franc & Sangiovese.

Old Mission Santa Barbara

2201 Laguna Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93105

Called the queen of the Missions, it has a great view, a rose garden, and an interesting tour.

Superior Court Of California County Of Santa Barbara

1100 Anacapa Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

View from the clock tower is excellent, grounds have trees from all over the world. Tours are worth the time and interesting.

Santa Barbara Botanic Garden

1212 Mission Canyon Road, Santa Barbara, CA 93105

Serene nature experience among native Californian plants.

Douglas Family Preserve

Santa Barbara, CA 93109

Park in a quiet neighborhood and follow flat trails to coastal bluffs. You can sit on a fallen log and consider the lilies etc. This would be a great place to walk with a sweetie and a coffee. As a heads up, there are dogs off leash here which I find cute but some don’t.
