Michelin Bib Gourmand award winner. This restaurant is quintessential Californian cuisine. A meal here is going to be quite expensive and quite lovely. Making a reservation for dinner would be a wonderful idea for someone wanting to practice self-care while deeply impressing their sweetie.

One of the few wineries that produce their wines on the premises, Carr's tasting room is in their barrel room, a funky quonset hut. Noted for their Pinot Noir, but also producers of great Cabernet Franc & Sangiovese.
Old Mission Santa Barbara
Called the queen of the Missions, it has a great view, a rose garden, and an interesting tour.
Superior Court Of California County Of Santa Barbara
View from the clock tower is excellent, grounds have trees from all over the world. Tours are worth the time and interesting.
Santa Barbara Botanic Garden
Serene nature experience among native Californian plants.
Douglas Family Preserve
Park in a quiet neighborhood and follow flat trails to coastal bluffs. You can sit on a fallen log and consider the lilies etc. This would be a great place to walk with a sweetie and a coffee. As a heads up, there are dogs off leash here which I find cute but some don’t.
