She said "FINALLY!" at the very frozen Twin Lakes in Colorado surrounded by some of their closest friends on January 23rd, 2021.

Kyle was spectacular, he truly convinced her the whole weekend was a celebration for a friend. They all gathered at a house in Buena Vista and he popped the question at a beloved hiking spot.

As if being proposed to in a scene that can only be described as a larger than life snow globe wasn't enough, they were both so happy that Faye, their fur baby, could be there too.

Thank goodness to their friend Kate, who helped them capture all these photos. And thank you to Zaid, Kory, Colleen, Kaia, and Chris for your trickery and love. It was the perfect day.

They loved living in Denver - between hiking, micro-breweries, Rockies games, and snowboarding their weekends were almost always packed.

When Kyle was accepted to Ross they decided to leave their jobs early to spend the summer traveling before moving to Ann Arbor.

Canyonlands was one of their favorite stops - even with the outrageous heat and imminent threat of mountain lions along their hike. They can't wait to go back and drive the White Rim Road!

With temperatures skyrocketing, they found relief in Bryce Canyon. Between the shady trees and the Hoodoo Kolsh from the general store, it was incredibly hard to leave.

Their time in California was dotted with the greatest highs and lows of their trip. They wouldn't change a single thing, each challenge and setback helped them grow closer.

They are so lucky to have spent several weeks in Black Butte Ranch with Kyle's parents. Erin had only been once and the extended stay allowed Kyle to show her the place he calls home.

True to the rest of their trip, just as things were going their way their plans took a swift change. A local wildfire prevented them from going down to Crater Lake for their engagement photos.

They were so lucky that their photographer, Sarah Hall, has an adventurers heart and was willing to change gears at a moments notice.

For them, life and love are about having fun, being yourself, and spending your days with people that make you shine brightest. Sarah was able to capture all that and they are truly thankful.

They have since settled in their new place in Ann Arbor. Their biggest challenge now is not to get too caught up in what's coming, which is easy with so many wonderful plans to look forward too.

Preparing for their wedding has allowed them to explore what's most important in life. They both value family, hard work, a sense of spontaneity, and the ability to laugh at oneself.

They are overjoyed to have so many people in their life caring for them and supporting them, and they consistently seek to give that back.

Now, most people are a little surprised that Erin and Kyle have made it this long without running off to elope... to be honest they are too.

But for them, this wedding is more than just their union. In so many ways they already feel bound together for life.

Their love story would not be complete without their friends and family, so they want, more than anything, for it to be a day where everyone can take part in the joy they have helped create.

Erin always knew this day would come. In fact, in college she proclaimed to several friends that she was destined to marry Kyle. For her, it's not a dream come true, it's fate running it's course.

In true Kyle fashion, it took him longer to admit a truth Erin already knew. But ever since he discovered she was hiding a bearded dragon in her dorm, he knew she was entirely one-of-a-kind.
