Question
Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Roughly 50 parking spots available on site. Once the main parking lot is filled, security will direct people to park at the curbs in the Parking lot, then at Mounted Command across from the main parking lot and then in the staff/volunteer parking lot in the back of the Botanical Center. There are also accommodations for any of our guests who need it. The gate to the back driveway (behind the Greenhouses) will be open so guests can enjoy the ceremony and cocktail hour. The gates near the parking lot will also be unlocked so guests can be dropped off right near the patio in front of the Lakeside Pavilion for the reception.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Bridal parties will be made aware privately of any rehearsals, and bachelorettes!

Can I bring a date?
Answer
No. If your significant other is invited, their name will be on your Evite. That also includes additional family members. Anyone with a plus one should have been contacted by us, as well.

Only those specifically mentioned by name in the invitation.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
No shuttle service will be available for this event.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
No dress code. Please refrain from wearing white and sage green which will be our bridal party color. (and our wedding dress colors, obviously).

What's the weather going to be like?
Answer
It's fall - it could be warm, it could be cold. Wear layers and comfortable shoes. The venue is spacious and there will be some walking involved. Leave your six-inch heels at home!

Do I need to bring anything specific with me?
Answer
Please bring a book you've enjoyed reading to leave at the welcome table. When you leave, please pick a book to take home with you. Gifts can be brought in person, however, we prefer you use our Zola registry. Bring a jacket in case it's cold!

When should I book my hotel and flight?
Answer
Prices are expected to go up the closer we get to the event. Please make your reservations ASAP. Also, an important reminder if you're flying in: YOU NEED YOUR REAL ID LICENSE TO GET ON ANY DOMESTIC FLIGHT.
