Justin is an incredible husband to Erin and cat daddy to Lizzie. Although born in Philly, he considers himself a southerner and was raised in South Carolina. He just completed Podiatry foot and ankle surgical residency at Wake Forest and has joined a private practice in Hickory, NC. He loves watching NBA basketball, specifically LeBron. He is most looking forward to doing life with Erin and starting their family together one day!
Erin Deery

Erin is an amazing wife to Justin and cat mama to Lizzie. Erin will always be a Florida girl, but loves their life together in North Carolina. Erin recently graduated internal medicine residency and is currently a chief resident at Wake Forest. You can usually find her experimenting in the kitchen or her vegetable garden, out for a "hot girl walk," or watching basketball with Justin. She is most looking forward to traveling the world and forever trying new restaurants with her favorite person!
Brandon Waller
Best Man
Brandon has been the built-in homie since day one. A masterful singer and gifted with a gracious eye for the arts, Brandon has been blessed by the heavens with immense talent. However, perhaps one of his greatest gifts has been his affinity and vast love for his little-big brother, Justin. Throughout the years, Brandon and Justin could almost always be found doing some form of activity together. Whether it was writing plays or digging massive pits/hurricane shelters in the backyard (which Justin was forced to always clean up by himself), the two were always up to something. Brandon has consistently been present to hear Justin vent, serve as his personal photographer, and has been racking up on the free medical consultations for nearly a decade. Their ever-evolving relationship with one another has been a beauty to observe, and Justin is incredibly grateful for his older sibling’s friendship. Justin mostly enjoys Brandon’s cold calls and random check-ins throughout the week.
Katherine Deery

Katherine is Erin's younger sister and fellow cat mama to Dulce. Katherine has been Erin's bestie since the day she was born. Katherine is a sophomore at Sacred Heart University where she is also a member of the track and field team! These two sisters always look forward to their annual sister trips together. Katherine and Erin both share a love for boba tea, singing at the top of their lungs in the car, and being at the beach. Katherine inspires Erin to stay up with the Gen Z trends, stay resilient through adversity, and be the best sister she can be <3
Harper Kelley
Matron of Honor
Harper is Erin's cousin, but more importantly her "sis-star" as they were inseparable since day one (well since 9 months in to Erin's existence). No one has worn more matching outfits, attended more sleepovers at each others houses, or coordinated dance routines for the family than those two (Over In The Meadow, IYKYK). Harper is one of the friendliest people in the room, and she is so good at lifting those up around her. Harper lives in Alabama with her husband Andy, and they are soon-to-be parents! War Eagle!
Franklin Kelly

Franklin’s (aka Dr. Kelly, aka Kaelz) relationship with Justin goes all the way back to the middle school days. Justin earned Frank’s respect after battling him to a standstill during a wrestling bout in the living room as kids. The same level of toughness that they both displayed that day would inevitably translate to the toughness and grit of their brotherhood that would span two decades now and counting. Throughout the years, they would spend countless time with one another. From participating in free-style rap battles to scheming up how to take over the local high school and become the most popular guys around. From spending hours on the phone uplifting one another to giving each other critical life advice, Frank has undoubtedly served as an integral member of Justin’s inner circle. In fact, it was Frank who Justin often credits with breaking through to him and providing the final push that would lead to pursuing his dream of becoming a physician.
Olivia Burns

Olivia is Erin's OG bestie (since they were 2 years old!) and are second generation BFFs (shout out to Tessa and Jenni)! From dumping fairy glitter in their hair on Moss Lane, to coordinating dance routines to Aly & AJ songs, to bargaining for knockoff handbags on the streets of NYC, to annual Christmas tea shenanigans, Olivia's friendship has always been filled with unlimited laughter and love. Olivia is truly a ride-or-die for Erin, and is always a source of encouragement and optimism. Erin can't wait to be a fellow Waller girl with Olivia soon (yes Justin and Liv's fiancé, Stephen, have the same last name... it must be fate)!!!!
Marquet "Quet" Minor

Mr. Minor is one of the infamous members of the “Core 4”. Justin and the rest of the crew often refer to him as the “Beyonce” of the group. Throughout the college years and beyond, “Quet” has served as a steadying voice of reason and has provided very sound life counsel. In fact, he has excelled so much in this role, Justin has coined him as the “Blue Bonnet Therapist.” A loyal friend and as consistent as they come, Justin truly values his friendship with Marquet. Justin truly respects and loves his time spent with Marquet and the other members of the Core and considers each of them as brothers from other mothers. Justin will never forget all the times Marquet would graciously cover his meals and expenses during his visits to D.C. when he was a struggling podiatric medical student. “Quet” is truly a phenomenal human being.
Harper Hutton

Harper and Erin have been friends since childhood days at the Winter Park Racquet Club pool and many family trips to the Sebastian beach house. Harper and Erin have made memories through many phases of life and locations (Auburn, Nashville, music festivals, beach towns!). Harper is the most genuine and down-to-earth friend that always gives the best advice. Harper has also always been incredibly supportive of Erin and Justin's relationship, so much so that Harper and her husband Blake's wedding was the first place that Justin met most of Erin's family and childhood friends for the first time! She is and will always be an integral part of the girl gang!
Dennis Kwateng

Dennis (aka The Keystone King) also serves as one of the “Core 4” members and has been in Justin’s inner circle for the past 15 years. In college, Dennis and Justin collectively formed a two-headed monster that Marquet would unfortunately have to babysit for hours on end. However, it was this party itch in the early days that led to the building of their inseparable bond and indomitable foundation. Dennis was also the first of the core to meet Erin, and his encounter did not disappoint. He came out of the gates steaming hot, bombarding her with a flurry of tough questions. Erin of course passed with flying colors. On that very same day, Dennis provided Erin and Justin with his blessings, and the rest was history.
Victoria McGowan

Victoria (aka Tori, aka T) and Erin became inseparable in the 6th grade after goofing off in chorus together (M&M World couldn't handle us) and being the dynamic duo on the middle school basketball team (one left handed, one right handed for each side of the court!). Tori has always been Erin's go-to girl for a new adventures and concert-goings (Warped Tour forever), especially when riding around town in "Blueberry" or "Toaster," their sweet high school rides. On any given weekend growing up, you could find Erin at Tori's house or vice-versa, so much so that she will always feel like part of the family!
Justin Moore ("J.Moore")

Justin (aka J.Moore) is the last member of the “Core 4” and is highly regarded as a Master of the Roast (please see urban dictionary for “roasting”). J.Moore and Justin’s relationship truly began after he initially recruited Justin to the Richardson’s dorm, 9th floor flag football squad. They would go on to have a losing record on the field, but a winning record in the arena of life. J.Moore is widely credited with the establishment of the Core 4 friend group. A friend with almost no filter at times, he has been unapologetically opinionated and honest with all his friends. However, he is one of the most genuine people Justin has ever encountered. Over the years, J.Moore has never shied away from cold calling to check in, being consistent in showing up for his friends, or simply telling his people how much he loves them. Justin unquestionably values his relationship with J.Moore and has been blessed to have him in the inner circle.
Neha Bhaskar

Dr. Neha Bhaskar is an essential member of the bridesmaid gang! Neha and Erin also go waaay back to Lake Highland 6th grade (*plaid skorts and transition lenses, am I right?!), but took their friendship to the next level at UCF medical school! Neha is a vital member of the Cheetahs, will always tell you like it is, and will always be dressed more chic than everyone else in the room. You know it's a good night when you're cooking up a Half Baked Harvest recipe, pouring a good glass of wine, and swapping stories and (sometimes strong but correct) opinions with Neha. We love our Ney!
Justin Garvin

Justin (aka Garvin, aka Dr. Garvin) was originally a member of the “Justin Duo” in Podiatric Medical School. He was the first of the two to introduce himself to classmates at the time, so he is commonly known as OG Justin. However, he knew there could only be one, so he kindly asked everyone to simply call him Garvin so that Justin could hold the lone title in Pod School. This is when Justin (Erin’s husband) suspected that this gentleman might be what the kids refer to as “A Real One.” Garvin and Justin would hangout casually in large friend groups earlier in their medical training but during the later years, their friendship would blossom. They would spend hours together at Anime nights, studying, and Garvin would often invite Justin over for Love is Blind watch parties. Justin became an uncle to Garvin’s dog, Queso and was also a groomsman in his wedding.
Jessie Stovall

Jessie (AKA Jess, #3, J3, Dr. Stovall) has been a bright spot in Erin's life ever since they first connected before their freshman year of college (Galvy Water IYKYK) where they were the two incoming freshman on the women's basketball team. Little did they know, they would become teammates (both basketball and track & field!), roommates, sorority sisters, and lifelong friends. You can always count on Jessie to bring her A game to a game of HORSE, her goofy sense of humor to the function, and her genuine friendship everywhere!
Emma Selner

Dr. Emma Selner also came into Erin's life during her college years when they met through mutual friends and discovered the power of the women's basketball x women's soccer crossover potential. Erin and Emma's easy friendship evolved into teammates, roommates, sorority sisters, partners in pre-med studies, and friends for life. Erin admires Emma's creativity, thoughtfulness, intelligence, and ability to bring people around her together (A round of True American, anyone?). You will always be the Lizzie to my Gordo!
Karna Mangrola

Karna and Justin’s relationship began during residency orientation in 2022. Karna, being the incredibly helpful soul that he is, recognized that Justin was lost in his attempt to find the correct office during the first day of orientation and offered him assistance. This would be the encounter that would lead to a budding friendship. The two would cross paths in the future several more times before they went on to exchange Instagram information. Not long after, they would begin talking sports, grabbing coffee together, and unhappily, Justin would go on to discover that Dr. Mangrola (Karna) has made the most wanted list for being the number one hater of his favorite basketball player, LEBRON JAMES. Fortunately, this did not destroy their friendship. Justin has taken it upon himself to keep Karna around in hopes that he can save a lost basketball soul (MJ enthusiast) and guide him to the light (Team Lebron); directing a lost individual similar to what Karna did for him during orientation. Justin appreciates Karna’s sense of humor, candor, and willingness to always show up for him! Karna and his lovely wife, Vidhi have also blessed Justin and Erin with a puppy nephew, big Oaks. Erin and Justin can't wait to visit them all in Orlando soon!
Jocelyn Ha

Dr. Jocelyn Ha is another member of the Cheetahs, and the yellow aura to Erin's red aura. Erin and Jocelyn became friends in medical school where their friendship spanned from being study buddies at their favorite local coffee shops, to listening to all the same podcasts (GGE girlies where you at), to Jocelyn teaching Erin how to do fancy makeup in exchange for Erin teaching Jocelyn how to make fancy salads. Their friendship even took them all the way across the pond to explore Scotland before residency began (cue the Red Hot Chili Pipers!). Erin is so grateful for Jocelyn's friendship that continues to span from east coast to west coast!
Justin Chacko

Dr. Justin Chacko, another esteemed member of the Cheetahs, surely knows how to ~strut like you mean it and free your mind! Justin and Erin have spent many hours studying together in the silent library at UCF COM, but many more hours cultivating a friendship full of laughter, dancing (well, mostly Justin and Ori dancing), curated cocktails (Justin has mixology skills!), and singing along to Dua Lipa at the top of their lungs (and at the top of the stadium). We love our Bridesman!!
Oriana Krivenko

Dr. Oriana Krivenko rounds out the final member of the Cheetah squad (and as one of the only members of the group that actually realllly dance like a real Cheetah girl). Erin and Ori also met in medical school, where hanging out at the library quickly evolved into cute coffee shop study spots with the squad and celebrating final exams out on the town (or at the Sebastian beach house for a celebratory waterfront brunch!) Erin appreciates that Ori always brings kindness, enthusiasm, and both a great sense of humor and sense of style everywhere she goes. The crew would not be complete without our Ori!!
Malik Underwood

If you were to rename this guy on his birth certificate, call him Mr. Reliable, “First name: I Got You, Last name: Underwood.” Malik is the epitome of dependable. Justin met Malik through his wife, Erin, on a double date during their intern year. They immediately hit it off and by the end of their first meeting, Malik had shared a heavy secret with Justin. He entrusted Justin with the knowledge that he would be soon proposing to his girlfriend at the time (Courtney, now his wife). At that moment, Justin realized their freshly established friendship had quickly escalated to “Bro Status” and there was no looking back. Malik and Justin would go to both become members of the “Trophy Husbands” and spend countless outings together. Malik and his wife Courtney have both been huge supporters of Justin and Erin’s relationship. Justin will always cherish Malik for keeping him grounded during the day of his ring quest and his pep talks throughout it.
Courtney Rowland

Courtney and Erin first became friends getting lost in the hospital the day before their first residency shifts (they were both starting on nights, yikes!) and continued to grow their friendship from there all the way through being current co-chief residents today! Courtney is THE gal for getting stuff done (doctoring, book club planning, you name it!), absolutely crushing Music Bingo/Trivia at breweries, having the craziest stories from her hometown and recounting them with perfect comedic timing, and staying up all night on the couch talking about life. Courtney is one of the most supportive, strong, and thoughtful friends you could ever meet, and Erin is so grateful to have her as a friend! (P.s. Justin is also very grateful for Courtney and Erin’s friendship as it brought him friendship with Malik and epic double date opportunities!)
Jefferson Deery

The ultimate brother-in-law to Justin (oh yeah, and brother to Erin too :) !) Late to check into the game but let’s not get things misconstrued, this man has been instant buckets since meeting Justin. Jefferson made a huge effort early on when he decided to visit Winston to hang out with his big sister and learn more about her dashingly handsome lover. Their first encounter went great and since then, he and Justin have been putting in work! They have been sharing countless memes and messages via social media, appreciating each other’s shared love for Straw-hat Luffy, and both deeply admire the woman that unites them both, Erin. Justin has been very appreciative of Jefferson’s contributions to leveling up his sweatshirt/hoodie wardrobe. Jefferson has unquestionably been an amazing addition to Justin’s life and he can’t wait to create more amazing memories with his favorite brother-in-law.

Alexa was one of Erin’s first friends in residency as they bonded over needing a vegetarian option for lunch at the residency welcome event, and the conversation just took off from there! Alexa, in addition to being a caring and bada$$ physician, is also your go-to gal for book recs, hot girl walking (especially in Reynolda), deep and meaningful conversation, and jamming out at a Noah Kahan concert. Alexa is one of most authentic, funny, and ride-or-die friends you will ever meet, and Erin is eternally thankful to have Alexa in her life!
Catie Elko

Catie is one of the most genuine, intelligent, and creative people you will ever meet! Erin and Catie met in residency as two of the Florida girls in their residency class. Catie is not only an incredibly competent and compassionate physician, but also an avid reader, cottage-core interior decorator, accomplished artist in many different media, and incredible comedic impersonator (particularly the Christmas genre, including Grinch and clay-mation elf). Erin is so grateful for Catie's steadfast friendship!
Jamir Carter & Frank Poole

Rounding out the groomsmen are the cousins. Both Jamir and Frank are the younger cousins of Justin, and yes, they are a package deal. They’ve always been there, through thick and thin. They’re family after all! As young kids, the cousin squad often shared their summers together and the cousin duo can probably recall taking a few L's on the basketball court vs. Justin. Frank and Jamir are dedicated family members and are always there to lend Justin a hand whenever he needs them. Justin is thankful to have these two in his corner to back him up. They provide unconditional support, and he truly loves them both.
