Welcome! We are so excited you're here, and I’ve been given the honor (and the joy!) of sharing our story with you — so buckle up and get ready for a little love, laughter, and maybe even a happy tear or two. Let’s start with the short version: We were friends. Then we started dating. We got engaged. And now… WE’RE GETTING MARRIED! 🎉💍 Now for the full story — because every love story deserves its fairytale beginning... Once upon a time, in a faraway land called Long Beach... We first met in the summer of 2014, down on Long Island, working summer jobs at the ABC. Erin was a valet, JP was a cabana boy, and while we chatted here and there, it was nothing more than a friendly hello… at least at first. Fast forward a few summers and a growing friendship later, the summer of 2019 arrived, and something just clicked. By then, we had both graduated college — Erin was searching for a city job, and JP had just started his career as a nurse. Erin moved to Queens, and we started spending more and more time together. Our friendship grew into something even more meaningful, and, depending on who you ask, we “officially” started dating in February 2021 (with a little help from Layla!). From long walks on the beach to rebuilding a house together (and surviving all of JP’s wild ideas), our love continued to grow. We moved in together in October 2022, turning our house into a cozy home filled with laughter, love, and probably too many snacks. Now, for the proposal — that’s a story in itself! You’ll have to ask Erin about Acadia in 2022, when she might have dropped a hint by saying, “If you’re going to do it, do it here.” (Spoiler: JP didn’t do it there.) Instead, in 2023, JP hid the ring in the ceiling of the laundry room — because Erin is really good at finding presents. The secret stayed hidden until March 2024, when we took an unforgettable trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. We saw the world's largest Costco (yes, really), the world's largest baked potato, snowmobiled through Yellowstone to see Old Faithful, and — against Erin’s better judgment — snowshoed into the Grand Tetons. There, in the snow-covered stillness, JP got down on one knee. Erin's first words were, “What are you doing?” — but her second words were “YES!” (And if you’ve heard rumors of someone being pushed into a lake afterward… well, that’s a story for another time 😉) And now, here we are — ENGAGED! We’re so thrilled to be getting married, and even more thrilled to be celebrating with all of you — our family and friends who have cheered us on, lifted us up, and loved us through every chapter of our journey. We can’t wait to begin this next adventure with your support and your hearts beside us.
