Best Man
Best man, older brother, only got the brains of the family, not the beauty. He's still Jon's favorite brother.
Maid of Honor
I hated her in fourth grade when I first met even though we were wearing the same shirt. We overcame the odds and have been best friends for more than 10 years. Daisy is wise, kind, fun, so fashionable, hilarious, and an amazing human being. I am so grateful we are still friends!
Groomsman
Friend from Red Rocks, takes videos of stuff, helped with Jon's proposal to Erin, and is way too good at Mao. He's unfortunately bad at dancing, similar to most people coming to our wedding.
Bridesmaid
Emma and I became friends freshman year of college. When I first met her, she was sitting in front of me, annoyingly talking and I thought "Man this girl is so annoying! Watch us become friends." Literally Emma turns around and introduces herself. Since then, she's been one of my best friends. She's my favorite enneagram 1, deeply loyal and caring, thoughtful and pensive, and addicted to dark chocolate. My deal with her was that if she could break the addiction, she could come to the wedding. There's like a 90% chance I'm going to be short a bridesmaid.
Groomsman
He's a friend from Red Rocks and a great bassist. His wife picks on me like an older sister, but he’s pretty cool. Also, if there is pho within a five mile radius, Theo will sniff it out and demolish it.
Bridesmaid
Sister sister! Everyone knows you need your big sister by your side on your big day. She challenges me, beats me at everything, is good at everything, and is annoyingly rational. BUT I'm getting married younger, so who's the real winner here?!
Groomsman
Friend from high school, been friends for as long as I can remember. He was homeschooled so he's almost as awkward as me. Don't make loud noises near him though because he might get another concussion. Also, nobody bring a trampoline to the wedding for the same reason.
Bridesmaid
Ellie and I met because she's engaged to Jon's best friend from high school. Kind, intentional, quick witted, and outspoken, Ellie is a friend for life. Ellie only agreed to being a bridesmaid because "she owes me one". She's way too cool for me otherwise.
Groomsman
One of Jon's brother-in-laws, Costa Rican, SUPER hard-working, has a dog that’s cuter than all of us combined. Disappointingly not that good at Mario Kart.
Bridesmaid
My spicy Latina friend and favorite Spanish speaker, Vanessa and I became close through being RA's together. We also traveled to Ecuador together and bonded over my inability to speak Spanish and her inability to speak English.
Groomsman
Friend from Red Rocks, probably the best looking of all of us, we overcame the odds and became friends after fighting during a pickup basketball game. Ladies, shoot your shot.
Bridesmaid
Melissa and I became close during our time as RAs (wow real shocker, I made friends during my RA time.) Apparently when we first met I was "too cool and intimidating" to be friends with- something I'm sure people say ALL the time. We eventually became roommates and everyone knows if your friendship can survive the roommate phase it's meant to be.
Groomsman
Some guy who asked to be invited here, don’t know much about him. I think he sings good or something...?
Bridesmaid
Spunky and fun, Ariana is a little ball of sunshine. She loves beyond measure and we became close as my time as an RA. Ariana also has a twin, so if she's unable to show up, we'll still have someone in her place that looks very similar to her.
Groomsman
One of Jon's brother-in-laws, he works in finance (maybe a bank teller?), will beat you at fantasy football and most real sports too.
Bridesmaid
Hilarious and oh so fun, Jordan and I became close during my time as an RA. I said she could be a bridesmaid on one condition- she wouldn't wear her chewbacca mask to my wedding. It was a tough decision for her but she eventually caved.
