Take the tram to the new rental car building. Check in and show your QR code from the Hawaii Safe Travels website that shows your negative test. Then they tell you which row number to pick your car and you can pick any car in that row. The keys are inside the car. Super fast and affordable.

Hawaiian Airlines offers covid testing at select airports for $90 through Worksite labs (Joey and I used this option last trip for fast results within 36 hours). If you are not vaccinated you will need to take a COVID test 72 hours before your arrival to the island. Create an account and upload proof of negative covid test. You will need it at the airport, rental car facility, and hotel.
