For friends who’d like to stay right on the lake, we’ve reserved several cottages at Fred’s Camp, a small rustic cottage property nearby. The cottages sleep 2–8 people, making it a great option for groups of friends who want to stay together and enjoy the full lake weekend experience. The camp has a relaxed, classic cottage feel with beautiful waterfront access, docks, and plenty of space to hang out. It’s a fun way to stay close to other guests and make the most of the weekend on the lake. If you’re interested in staying at Fred’s Camp, please let us know and we can help coordinate cottage assignments.

The Inn at Gore Bay is a comfortable and simple hotel option located in the town of Gore Bay, a short drive from the wedding location. Overlooking the harbour, it’s a convenient choice for guests who prefer a traditional hotel stay rather than a cottage rental. Gore Bay is a charming lakeside town with a marina, restaurants, and beautiful sunset views, making it a great place to explore while you’re on the island.
