Question

Do we have to Stay at the Sandos Caracol Eco Resort?

Answer

No, you don't have to stay at our wedding resort, and we understand people have varying budgets and vacation preferences. However, to access the resort and attend the wedding a day pass will have to purchased at ~$100/ person if you do not stay at the all inclusive resort. When you stay at Sandos resorts you can jump around to other Sandos resorts for free in the region. You may want to spend a day and head north to Sandos Cancun, or head slightly south to Sandos Playa Car, to check out their beaches and amenities.

Question

Which airport should we arrive in?

Answer

You can choose to either fly into the Cancun airport, which is approximately a 60-90 min drive to the resort by shuttle or taxi. You may also choose to fly into the Cozumel airport and travel to the mainland by ferry and catch a cab to the resort.

Question

Is the water safe to drink at the resort?

Answer

Good question! Each room is equipped with a deep rock water filter tank to fill up water bottles and use to brush your teeth each day, etc. Ice for the cocktails & drinks is specially shipped in and made from filtered water. We don't recommend drinking straight from the sink, as there are options for filtered water all over the resort.

Question

How soon should we arrive/long should we stay?

Answer

This is totally up to you and your vacation preferences and budget. The bride and groom will arrive at the resort by Saturday April 24th and be departing April 30th. It is recommended to arrive in Mexico by April 26 to allow ample time for travel delays (hopefully none) and participate in any group activities (more to come on these) prior to the wedding day.

Question

Answer

FOOD & DRINK -Unlimited food and beverage ACTIVITIES -Non-motorized sports -Snorkel equipment half hour a day -Dive lesson in the hotel pool -Eco Activities for the whole family -Tennis court -Gym ENTERTAINMENT -Entertainment shows and daily activities -Nightly entertainment SERVICES -WiFi -Concierge -Kids Club ADDITIONAL SERVICES -Available depending on the reserved room category

Question

What special measures being taken in the hotel in terms of hygiene and safety to prevent the spread of Covid-19?

Answer

Sandos Hotels & Resorts takes the safety of guests and collaborators very seriously. They have implemented a series of hygiene protocols to guarantee a clean and safe environment. Do you carry out Covid-19 tests in the hotel? Yes, Sandos has an agreement at a special rate with Costa Med. For this reason, to avoid the displacement of guests, all of the COVID-19 tests are done in the hotel.
