We're Getting Married!!!

Erin and Dave’s story begins when they met at work, Children’s Hospital Colorado. David spearheaded Children’s Hospital first ever Culture Club…. Sing it… “Karma, Karma, Karma, Karma, Karma, Chameleon!” David’s work around building workplace culture is now gaining recognition and publishing opportunities. Erin as a new employee in 2019, was looking to get involved in hospital initiatives and events, so she attended Culture Club one Tuesday. Erin was immediately awe struck by the leaders’ goofy jokes, playful way to engage staff in conversation, and that an incredibly busy leader would take time out of his weekly schedule to lead these meetings and build a better place to work. Erin had developed a workplace crush! When Erin first attended Culture Club, Dave walked into the meeting ready to lead and immediately had whiplash at the stunning young woman sitting in the corner of the room, for the first time in his life he was speechless. He not only was amazed by how beautiful she was, but how smart, engaged, and confident she was in contributing her thoughts and input to the meeting. However, David never thought he could ever have a chance with Erin, he thought she was too young, too smart, and too beautiful. From that day forward, Dave could not stop thinking about her, yet, did not take action for almost 10 months. It wasn’t until a mutual friend indicated to Dave that by some miracle, Erin was not only single?!, but she might also be interested in him (jaw hit the floor!). It took him another six weeks to work up the courage to ask her out. On their first date they hiked, got rained on, and then grabbed a bite to eat and laughed and chatted for over 3 hours. Erin was 1,000 times more wonderful than he had ever hoped for. Erin and David were inseparable. On January 23, 2021 Dave proposed to Erin during a short hike in Breckenridge overlooking Dillon reservoir, while it was romantically and magically snowing all around them.
