What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

In Florida, it should be GLORIOUS! The average daily high temp in Florida is 75 degrees and the average daily low is 58 degrees.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at October Oaks in Webster, FL.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. The reception will take place indoors. We are hoping to have the doors open for the reception - pending weather!

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no," so we can plan accordingly.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Our venue is a little far out - but both Apple & Google Maps have worked successfully for us!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4:30pm. Plan to arrive with enough time to park and walk to the ceremony site - we would recommend arriving 15-30 minutes prior to be seated in time.

Where should guests park?

Answer

There is parking at the venue. It is an outdoor venue with a dirt road leading to the parking area.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do your recommend I stay?

Answer

We do not have a hotel block as the bride and groom, as well as most of our family, are local. We have recommended a few hotels on our travel page.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

We are asking that all guests please RSVP by October 8. You can mail back the invitation or RSVP online.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

We will have appetizers and drinks during cocktail hour. For the reception, a buffet dinner will be provided with drinks as well.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

YES - as long as we know! Please reach out to Erin or Daniel if you have specific dietary needs.

Will transportation be provided to and from the hotel?

It will not be provided. You will be responsible for providing your own transportation.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #doublethenoyes so we can keep track of all your pictures!

Our colors are navy and burgundy.
