We met on Bumble, the dating app. Cody swears that he had his alma mater (Auburn) listed on his profile, while I swear he did not (why would I swipe right on an Auburn guy?!). Either way, we connected over our love for college football and being outdoors. Our first date was brunch at Grace and Grit where we talked until well after the restaurant closed. Our second date was drinks at Cody's favorite bourbon bar, Bar Mash. Our third date was a minor league baseball game (Charleston Riverdogs). I would not tell Cody where I wanted to sit, though I told him our future depended on his choice. Needless to say, he picked the right section!
