Limited at event sites. For those of you staying in Jemez Springs, we will arrange a shuttle or carpool for you to the events. You can easily meet in the parking lot of the library/bathhouse. Jemez Springs is tiny so you will know where this is once you are there. For those of you tent camping, we will try to find you parking nearby the Poling Cabin or across the road at another cabin where the wedding party is staying. As we get a better idea of who is coming and where they are staying we will be able to provide more specifics on parking. We will take into consideration handicap needs and such. Check the SCHEDULE page as the event nears for detailed parking and shuttle information.
While we understand for many of you dogs are part of the family, we request that these family members stay home for all our events. If this is an issue, please let us know and we can consider other options - maybe a dog sitter locally if you are from out of town?
Yes, as Saturday breakfast and lunch are on your own there will be an communal outdoor kitchen space to use nearby the cabin. Please consider meals that require little cooking or clean-up.
Of course! And we reserve the right to ask for a hand in break down.
For the wedding and reception event and for tent and RV campers, there will be port-a-potties for use. For showers, we might consider putting up an outdoor shower area on site. There is always the river too rinse off in!
No hooks up. Small generators are ok in moderation.
LIKELY YES! We definitely have access to a lot of tents so you are probably covered there. Just let us know when you RSVP and we will be in contact
We expect around 15-20 kids and as we have our own this is a major focus for us. Many of the kids Elijah's age know the land well and with clear boundaries the forest and river are wonderful places for the kids to have fun. We also will have games that are kid and adult-friendly as a fun way for us all to be together during the reception. However, in order to help us maintain a safe and fun atmosphere for the kids (and adults) during the wedding reception, we are hoping to organize either some childcare staff (if we can find the right people) or a parent take-a-turn schedule for keeping a focused eye on the tribe. Ultimately, we expect that you will keep charge of your kids at all times, however with a little bit of organization we think we can make it a smooth, safe and enjoyable experience for all. Please expect an email from wildlove623@gmail.com, subject: kiddo info, for more correspondence as the wedding nears.
Only the weather goddesses know that, but what we can tell you is that we may be approaching monsoon season at this time. If it does rain it will likely be short lived and glorious. Bring an umbrella if you can and your rain dancing moves! UPDATE: We received a nice long pour down Saturday June 16th which was much needed! However, rain is not forecast for the coming weekend.
You mean we haven't already asked you? We would love your help. Please let us know when you RSVP. Thanks in advance!
