Chicago Architecture Tour
One of the most unexpected blasts we've had in the city. Shoreline is the company we've used before, but there are several if that one is already booked.
Lincoln Park Zoo
Our local *FREE* (yes, really) downtown zoo. Great for adults and kids.
The Magnificent Mile
Walk the famous shopping strip in downtown Chicago. While you're in the neighborhood, take a selfie at The Bean in the nearby Millennium Park. It's iconic!
Chinatown
Shop and eat in Chicago's most prominent East Asian neighborhood. Erin highly recommends getting dim sum here.
Shedd Aquarium
Our local aquarium. Great for adults and kids.
Field Museum
Our local natural history museum. Great for kids and adults.
A Play or Musical
There are tons of plays, musicals and other shows in Chicago all the time. Follow this link to find some that are playing when you'll be in town.
Music Box Theatre
Historic movie theater in the city. Great for watching classics and new movies alike!
Activate Games
Super fun and active game center with lasers, puzzles and games. You'll be moving around a bunch, so great for adults and kids looking to burn off some energy!
The Green Mill
A Chicago speakeasy bar with live jazz. Only adults 21 and older are allowed in.
Northwestern University
If you're looking for something free to do, you can walk around Erin's alma mater, Northwestern University, which has a large outdoor campus in Evanston, IL. Great for strolling along the lakeshore on a beautiful day!
