Question

Are children invited?

Answer

To give everyone the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, Erin and Ben have politely requested that this be an adult-only affair. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time. Due to legalities and venue size restrictions, with the exception of our immediate family, all guests must be at least 21 years of age.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list due to venue size restrictions. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

What is the preferred attire?

Answer

The attire for our wedding is Formal (Black-Tie Optional). Ladies should wear a floor-length gown, knee-length cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit/separates. Gentlemen should wear a tuxedo, or a dark suit, or separates, with a shirt and tie.

Will this be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Both. The ceremony will be outdoor at the Green Cathedral. We will then have a cocktail hour, and after, head inside to the great hall for dinner and dancing. In the case of rain, ceremony will be held in the chapel.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, while the bridal party will be taking photographs, guests can head straight to the trellis for cocktail hour where we will be serving hors d'oeuvres and cocktails.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly :)

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes. We will have stationary and passed hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour and a seated formal dinner after the ceremony followed by desert and wedding cake.

Do you have any hotel suggestions in Austin or Dripping Springs?

Answer

We have blocked rooms at the Fairmont Austin downtown with the following link : https://book.passkey.com/e/50323675 Since it’s about 45 minutes from downtown Austin to Dripping Springs, and there are limited hotel options in Dripping Springs, we will have a shuttle going from Fairmont to Ma Maison and back for those of you staying or living in Austin who don’t want to make the drive. For those who would like to stay closer to the wedding venue, there is a Holiday Inn Express in Dripping Springs, however we do not have a designated hotel block here, as they didn’t offer this option, so I would book sooner rather than later if you choose this option, just to to secure availability. There’s also lots of great Air BnB’s, VRBO’s and cabins in the Dripping Springs area if you’d prefer to go that route.

Will you have transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes. We will be offering a shuttle between Ma Maison and the Fairmont on September the 10th, beginning at 4:30 pm, and ending at 11:00 pm. If you know you plan on riding the shuttle between the Fairmont and Ma Maison, please RSVP as soon as possible to ensure an accurate headcount.
