Question

Should I Eat Before the Event?

Answer

We would recommend having a heavy lunch before coming to the event. We will be serving heavy appetizers right after the ceremony which will include Jerk Chicken Skewers, Meatball Duets, Sunfish Sliders, and Perogies in addition to other servings. We will also be serving pizza later in the night for those who wish to stay into the evening to celebrate further. Desserts and Smore's Bar will also be included. This is meant to be a casual mixer with yummy food to snack on more than a formal sit-down situation.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, in your RSVP please make mention of this so we can pass this along to the caterer.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Great question! A social hour will start at 2pm where our family and friends will have the opportunity to meet each other prior to the ceremony. We would like everyone to take their seats for the ceremony by 2:45pm. There will be no "His & Hers" side.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

This is an early June wedding in an outdoor venue, so think "garden party" attire. Please, no jeans, leggings, or other casual wear.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you received an invitation, you are guaranteed the option to bring a plus one.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yeehaw, it's a farm. Therefore, plenty of parking.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes. Almquist Farms has plenty of space for kids to engage with nature, even some goats! We will have lawn games available to keep them busy before and after the ceremony.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We appreciate having your RSVP by May 15th, 2024. If not, please bring a lawn chair and a sandwich with you.

Question

How will gifts/registry work?

Answer

We have options for just about anyone. You first can donate to either our honeymoon or moving fund. This is located right here in the website under the registry category. Under registry, you will find our physical gift registry with Target. You are also welcome to go the traditional route and bring a card with you as we will have a card drop box at the venue.

Question

What happens if there is inclement weather?

Answer

While it's said that having rain on your wedding day brings good luck, we will do our best to still have the wedding outside. Please bring an umbrella if there is rain on the forecast. If it is a downpour, then expect to have the ceremony in the reception hall.

For all the days along the way
