Vail is beautiful in the summer! Vail is made up of three villages (Vail, Lionshead, and Golden Peak), each with lots of cute restaurants, bars, art galleries, and shops. There's a free shuttle between them all, or use walking paths. In the summer Vail hosts lots of outdoor markets, concerts, and other events. You can also take the gondola up the mountain for biking or hiking.

We visited her last year and had a blast! It's an amusement park in the sky, with a cliff-swing, rides, tours of their extensive cave system.
