We met in the winter of 2011 at a bar in Chicago. Greg's friend was a bartender there, and Erin's friends were playing a show. We always thought the way we met was not-so-glamourous, but the beginning of our relationship was filled with fun and excitement. Our official first date started at Alhambra Palace. Our second date was at Medieval Times. We ate a lot of good food, with a variety of good sauces (very important). Over 7 years together, we've shared an apartment, graduated school, traveled to Dubai, adopted a dog, opened a business, bought a condo, went skiing, and are now preparing to get married. We hope you can share this special moment with us, in a place that is also very special to us.

It was a regular Wednesday. I came home from work and found a special note taped to the door. I immediately started happy-crying and opened the door to find a trail of roses leading to the bedroom, which was filled with more roses and candles. Greg was waiting for me, on one knee, with the most beautiful ring I've ever seen. As if that wasn't enough, he then brought out a tiny golden retriever puppy, our Shishka. We spent the night celebrating, calling family, and playing with our new puppy. It was the most romantic, personal, and perfect proposal. –Erin

We are having our wedding in a place that is very special to us. Vail has some of the best skiing (and views!) in the world, and Greg's family has been traveling there to ski since he was a child. Greg and Erin went to Vail together for the first time in spring 2016, where Erin learned to ski and loved it. Since then, Vail has been a regular trip, where we bond over skiing and the beautiful mountain views.
