Mohonk Preserve
At Mohonk the roads and trails are perfect for hiking, biking and horseback riding. Also, home to the “Gunks” climbing and bouldering. Don’t forget to check out the hike commonly referred to as the “Lemon Squeeze” climbing your way to the Sky Top Tower at Mohonk Mountain House.
Minnewaska State Park Preserve
Located on the Shawangunk Mountain Ridge, the park features waterfalls, lakes and forests with footpaths to bike, walk and hike.
Mount Beacon Scenic Hudson
Highest peak of the Hudson Highlands, located behind the city of Beacon. The trail starts with a staircase and becomes quite steep but the panoramic Hudson River views from the summit make the trek worth it!
