Located just outside the village of Baldwinsville, Strigo Vineyards is a family-owned winery set in the countryside. The tasting room features wine taps inside a rustic barn-style building. Weather permitting, there is outdoor seating available to kick back and enjoy the fall weather.
About 20 minutes from the hotels, and 10 minutes from the town of Baldwinsville, Beaver Lake is a great place to go for a long walk or hike and experience the fall foliage! There are miles of walking trails surrounding a beautiful lake. Kayaks and canoes are also available to rent!
Head to downtown Baldwinsville to grab a bite and a drink at some of our local bars and restaurants. Grab breakfast at the infamous B'Ville Diner, lunch at Olive's Eatery (Erika loves the VV Panini!), or a slice of pizza at Pizza Man! Some other favorites include Sal's Pizzeria, BG1 for small plates and cocktails, Angry Smokehouse, Angry Garlic, Mohegan Manor, Fireside by the River, and San Miguel.
Syracuse's historic Irish neighborhood, Tipp Hill, is known for its strong Irish heritage and pub scene. It features the only upside-down traffic light in the United States (Google this for some fun history). Stop by Coleman's Pub or Blarney Stone for a pint!
If you're looking for a classic fall outing, head to Abbott Farms. In October, they offer apple picking, pumpkin patches, hayrides and a corn maze. Be sure to grab a fresh cider and their famous cider donuts while you're there!
About 40 minutes from the hotels and 30 minutes from the town of Baldwinsville, Skaneateles is one of the most picturesque towns in the Finger Lakes region. It sits right on Skaneateles Lake and has plenty of boutiques and restaurants to explore. Blue Water Grill, the Sherwood Inn and LakeHouse Pub are some favorites.
A fall favorite in Central NY, Beak & Skiff Apple Orchards is a beautiful hillside orchard about 35-40 minutes from Baldwinsville. You can enjoy apple picking, fresh cider donuts, and beautiful scenery. For hard cider lovers, the orchard also features the 1911 tasting room and distillery where you can try locally made hard ciders, spirits and cocktails.
