Erika and Kevin started to get to know each other in the summer of 2017 in Santa Barbara, stumbling into each other at coffee shops and talking about books. Having recently graduated from college in June, Erika booked a one-way ticket to Spain, determined to avoid student loans forever. Kevin decided to take a risk and accompany her. After forty days of eating, drinking, and exploring Spain’s tapa-filled streets, Kevin convinced Erika to return to California with him and get on a reasonable repayment plan. After many adventures, the two now share a flat in San Francisco and are the proud cat parents of Leo “Memo” Moltisanti (named after Christopher Moltisanti from The Sopranos). They’ve been trying to get married for years, and are thrilled to finally tie the knot after eight years of a rather blissful relationship.

Erika y Kevin empezaron a conocerse en el verano de 2017, cruzándose en cafeterías y hablando sobre libros. Después de graduarse de la universidad en junio, Erika compró un boleto de ida a España, decidida a evitar las deudas estudiantiles para siempre. Kevin decidió arriesgarse y acompañarla. Después de 40 días de comer, beber y explorar las calles llenas de tapas en España, Kevin convenció a Erika de regresar a California con él y optar por un plan de pago razonable. Tras muchas aventuras, ahora comparten un departamento en San Francisco y son los orgullosos padres gatunos de Leo "Memo" Moltisanti (nombrado en honor a Christopher Moltisanti de Los Soprano). Han intentado casarse durante años y están emocionados de finalmente celebrar su boda después de ocho años de una relación bastante feliz.

We will be getting married in Erika’s family home on a semi-rural mountain in Tecate, Mexico. Our wedding will be a two-day celebration filled with food, live music and dancing into the night (and beyond). The weekend will probably be very warm, so we’d suggest you wear lightweight clothing and plan for desert-like conditions. Erika’s father designed and hand-built the venue for rustic, romantic parties and getaways. The Carlos family encourages camping and hanging out for as long as you'd like. Yay (:

Nos casaremos en la casa familiar de Erika, ubicada en una montaña semi-rural en Tecate, México. Nuestra boda será una celebración de dos días llena de comida, música en vivo y baile hasta altas horas de la noche (y más allá). Es probable que el clima sea muy cálido ese fin de semana, así que les sugerimos usar ropa ligera y prepararse para condiciones tipo desierto. El padre de Erika diseñó y construyó el lugar a mano para fiestas y escapadas rústicas y románticas. La familia Carlos los anima a acampar y quedarse el tiempo que deseen. ¡Yay! (:
